I had never been here before and was looking forward to getting Chinese food from my local Chinese place. I heard some good things about the place and just wanted to try it out. I ordered my food and it came to $16.71 for a shrimp, fried rice and two eggrolls, apparently they had a policy that anything under $20 and if you’re putting it on a card they would charge you an extra dollar for that. I didn’t want to do that. It just felt like an extra way for them to earn money. I’m already patronizing your establishment. Why do I have to pay an extra dollar just to use my card. I was about to walk out and a kind gentleman behind me paid for my food as I explained to the people at China House that this was my first experience there. It wasn’t about the money. It was the principal behind the things. Needless to say my first time is going to be my last time shrimp fried rice was very lackluster. I will say the eggrolls were pretty good not gonna hate on those, but I wouldn’t recommend it go to Cafe sado instead.

Ever since this place has re-opened it is impossible to place an order via phone, they have two lines and no one ever picks up when I call. Not too happy with that, especially since before they closed for remodeling if you called they would pick up in the first ring! Such a shame especially since this is the only Chinese restaurant in town. Step up your game!

Seeing as this is the only Chinese food restaurant for miles they should do better. I’m glad we have one it’s just that they do not really accommodate their customers. It’s cash only, they don’t allow menu modifications to your order even with an up charge. They also got rid of real fried rice and use steamed rice now with vegetables and call it fried rice. Walked out the other evening very disappointed. Also their prices have doubled and the menu has less options. Also no real dine in area or delivery offered.

I don't get Chinese food a lot, but every time I go here the food is great. I got the General Tso's Chicken and the portion is huge and the egg rolls are delicious. The staff is always nice and they get you in and out. Great place to try out.
