I don't get Chinese food a lot, but every time I go here the food is great. I got the General Tso's Chicken and the portion is huge and the egg rolls are delicious. The staff is always nice and they get you in and out. Great place to try out.
The best and ONLY Chinese restaurant in town. That says it all. Have been coming here a few times a year for almost 20 years. Nothing changes very much. Most menu items are tasty and worthy of a "let's get takeout" meal. You can eat-in cafeteria style, but takeout is fast, efficient, and (usually) friendly.

I love china house in Chesterton. Best take out food in town. Love the wontons and egg rolls, beef n broccoli, and the poo poo platter that has a little bet of every appetizer and the biggest fried chicken wings.
