Always fun at JJ, but expect a crowd. Basically it is a bunch of boaters listening to music and having some drinks. If you are from the western shore and want to feel like you are on vacation, this is a great spot.
Great location with a nice sandy beach for relaxing with a drink and friends. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was the fact that my significant other and I stood and waited at the main bar for over 15 minutes and nobody helped us. We felt very ignored by the bar tenders who looked at us several times then just walked right past us to serve the younger, scantily clad girls who just walked right up. Service was pretty quick and most bartenders were friendly. Rolling eyes and a poor attitude emanated from one sour apple which was a shame but easy to ignore. The clientele was very easy going and fun both last night and this afternoon. The view is beautiful! Drinks were mostly ice which made them nice and cold but watered down. A great place to catch a tan on shore or to moor your boat
