Selam Market is honestly one of my favorite go to spots everytime i'm in DC. The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming — as soon as you walk in, you’re greeted with smiles and good vibes. The owners are super friendly and always ready to help you find what you need. A genuine smile goes such a long way and i’ve felt definitely felt that warm welcome.

Just got their food for the first time today and they’re now a new favorite! I got the beef and rice, and it was so delicious. The rice was cooked perfectly and the beef was tender and flavorful. Not to mention the staff were so welcoming upon entrance for pickup. Can’t wait to come back next time I want ethiopian food!
