Very nice place for dinner or the bar with lots of TVs and great food! Loved the Buffalo shrimp, crab toast, shrimp salad wrap, and tuna steak sandwich on our first visit!
The people are what make the place. My father (Richard Roden) spent many a year either working there of going for his 3pm beer. The love and caring of these people amaze me and while it was odd being in there today with out him. I understood why he never wanted to miss a day there. Thank you to all for looking after my Dad and giving him a home away from home.
great local crowd. Very friendly staff and patrons. Loved the food!

Towne Tavern & Spirits is a friendly neighborhood bar with a small but well-curated selection of draft beers, including the local favorite National Bohemian. The welcoming bartenders are happy to provide restaurant recommendations. The on-site liquor and beer store makes it convenient to stock up. The atmosphere has become more relaxed and inviting, reminiscent of a favorite LA eatery with a mix of casual sophistication. The venue hosts events like live music on weekends and charity fundraisers, though recent visits have seen fewer customers. While some find it a bit pricey, many appreciate the attentive and respectful staff who cater to their needs. The food menu is ideal for picky eaters, with standout items like the tartar sauce, crab cakes, and salad dressing. The pork chop special is also a popular and reasonably priced option. Overall, it's a nice spot to enjoy a drink, good company, and occasional entertainment.
