Service and food were fantastic
First and foremost, I am HURT that this store is temporarily closed. The best fried chicken in Columbia hands down. Also black owned. My heart almost fell out my stomach when door dash said temporarily closed. I suffer from not being able to fry my own chicken, but when i say they come into clutch on my quarterly cheat days, Chik is my go to. BRING BACK CHIK… BC I certainly can’t stomach that greasy KFC not fried by anyone that looks like they know how to fry chicken.

The catfish is the best and the shrimp basket is to die for. Many customers enjoy the fresh cornbread, the delicious Mac & cheese, and the yams. The homemade cakes, like the lemon cake, frequently sell out. While they do get busy, the staff handles the rush with smiles and professionalism. Overall, Chick N' Friends remains a favorite for those seeking authentic, tasty soul food.
