“The food was good. The service was great. These brothas were working short-staffed and in a DARK kitchen and still hustling to get the food out as quickly and efficiently as possible. Despite the extended wait, I still tipped them. I wish I could have given more just to acknowledge their work ethic. I pray the owner(s) will improve their work conditions IMMEDIATELY. They deserve to work in a fully functional kitchen!!“
“Lovely little spot! Both people working were so kind and all the food we got was amazing. We started with hush puppies that came with a delicious smoked tomato aioli, my husband tried their breakfast bowl that was a giant portion and so fresh, and I had the chicken avocado sandwich and fries which also was wonderful and fresh. We will definitely be back many times in the future and look forward to warm weather to eat on their patio space!“
“Great little find. Came in for breakfast with my husband. He got a build your own omelette and I got the French Eggs Benedict. My husband enjoyed his omelette and I fully enjoyed my French Eggs Benedict! It was seasoned perfectly and I liked the French bread twist instead of an English muffin. The staff were friendly and our food came out quick. The decor is a bit dated but it gave it character. The pictures on the walls were fun to look at while we waited for our food. Definitely a great spot for breakfast!“
“Absolutely delicious! Staff were very courteous, food came out fairly quick and the restaurant itself is very clean! We ordered home style breakfast and baleadas. Baleadas, my goodness, those things are ginormous! I could only finish one, they’re so good however, next time I pay el pueblito a visit I’ll be sure to ask for the cook to be light on the refried beans.“
“I genuinely love this haitian spot!! No offense to the others, but this particular restaurant makes their dishes closest to how my family makes it without all the extra frills or even blandness. Their beef bouyon w/ diri djon djon + plantains is my favorite meal to order and I just wish they were located closer to my area!!!“
“My mom and I came here for 2 Saturday's while my daughter took a 2 hour drawing class. Both occasions were breakfast and on both occasions we left with smiles on our faces and bellies full. First, trip I tried the southwest omlette and the second the tried and true country fried steak and eggs. Not to mention I used to live around the corner...many moons ago, and this Bob Evans is just as satisfying then as it was on my recent visits. Thanks server Keith and all the other staff that make it happen!“
