“My girlfriend and I had a wonderful take out experience. The pepperoni pizza had a crispy crust, zesty sauce, and good ratio of cheese & pepperoni. The cheesesteak was exactly what I requested. Excellent amount of cheese, mayo, in a fresh toasted roll. The fries were golden but needed to be just a wee bit more crispy. Nonetheless, still great! Overall, a delightful meal that we look forward to enjoying again.“

“My husband and myself stopped in last night, 6/6/2024 after stopping at the dispensary because the smell coming from crimson coward smelt absolutely amazing and delicious. We both got the crimson sandwich and I got the mac and cheese as well and omg it was all absolutely mouthwatering and delicious! We got our daughter a kids meal to bring home to her since she was at her friends and she even loved it, even the crimson sauce which we didn't think she'd like. We will definitely be back! “I love this restaurant, it’s great, staff is nice, and the environment is kept nice and clean. I highly recommend going for the Big Box, as it serves any burger thee want in it, 2-piece fried chicken, any side dish of thy choice, and lastly comes with a drink. Food will always be fresh, nice, and warm. Chicken is crispy and hot. Their spicy chicken sandwich is great along with the sauce that it has in it is great, has a splendid kick to it. In essence, I highly recommend this restaurant, easy 5-stars.“

“My go to takeout order is the tandoori chicken platter! If you’re a busy person & bulking on your workout journey, you can always rely on this restaurant for delicious, homemade tasting food. The tandoori platter is a generous serving, can make 2 meals out it. Not to mention the customer service is fantastic! “Danish has aisles and aisles full of South Asian staples ranging from dal and other beans to rice in all size bags, nuts, spices, sweets, pasta, and more items. I got a bag of basmati, cashews, golden raisins, and lime pickle. There is also fresh halal meat. I got ground lamb for making burgers. There is a small restaurant also with takeout as well as a couple of cozy booths. It's easy to miss the entrance to the little shopping center, but once there, one finds plenty of parking. Non-Asian shoppers may be confused by the name, but Danish (also spelled Danesh) means knowledge or wisdom in Urdu. One is certainly a wise shopper to take advantage of the great variety and bargains at Danish.“

“The food here is amazing - I usually get chicken and lamb kabobs. The homemade bread they make with the kabobs is so Butterly and soft. I'm not a fan of yogurt salads or chickpea rice, so I just got a plain salad and white rice. The food can be somewhat pricey, but it's great comfort food, especially when it starts to get cooler outside.“

“Great spot for lunch or dinner! Been coming here for years and it’s always 5/5! Everything on the menu is amazing, well seasoned, and flavorful. Dining in is also great; the restaurant is always sparkling clean. The staff are friendly, wonderful, and remember their regulars 😊 I’ve been to a few other Maiwand Kabob locations and every one that I’ve visited is always at least a 4/5, but the Maple Lawn location is definitely my favorite. “Amazing place for some authentic Halal Chinese cuisine! We tried Hakka lomein spicy, shrimp fried rice and both were delicious! The service was amazing and owners r very friendly and accommodating.

First time we went there for lunch dine in, the owner gave us free desi chai on the house and second time, the owner gave us drinks on the house.

We're hooked to this place and my wifey and I plan to eat here at least once I week!“

“First time visiting here. Halal BBQ is a relatively new concept around here and wanted them ncheck it out. Ordered two Halal Beef Brisket sandwich combos with french fries and a canned soft drink each, a Halal Bacon and Brisket combo sandwich with curly fries and can of coke, Mozzarella cheese sticks combo and a chicken tender serving. Overall the family enjoyed the food, my beef bacon was over cooked and the strips of beef brisket were thin slivers of meat with a barely discernable flavor coated with copious amounts of BBQ sauce. First impression was so-so, for me. Seating was barely adequate with people standing over your head to order. It was night time and rainy sonif they have outdoor seating, it was not part of the equation tonight. I will definitely visit again as I like to support small upcoming businesses and I like the concept of contemporary American food for those who prefer to eat Halal.“

“He makes great steak and cheese or chicken and cheese. And he has all beef, hot dogs. He make sure everything's perfect. Before he gets it out to you, If kids combine don't have money for a hot dog, he pays for it out of his own pocket. Hes a very kind, loving business owner.“

The gentleman at the cash register has an extreme attitude and will literally throw things at your bag when you ask for them.. It's almost like ordering is an inconvenience and they don't want your business. Sad to say but this location isn't what it was before.

Went to Naz's Halal today for their grand opening. Free lunch from 12-2 and the line was ridiculously long! The staff got off to a rough start, especially with enforcing social distancing but they pulled it off-- hot fresh food that beats Halal Guys!

Update 8/28:
Naz's halal has been open for over a week now and they've got really steady business.Walk in, place your order, and you'll have a fresh hot platter of meat, rice, and salad in less than 5 minutes. I've tried the chicken and lamb -- both are decent. The chicken is super flavorful, especially compared to the likes of Halal Guys. However, I almost always have a couple pieces of cartilage in my chicken, enough to ruin the meal for me. The rice is good, but wish it had more aromatic flavors as any good rice base should. The lettuce is usually crisp and fresh. The sauces that go with the platters are great too. The green sauce packs in the flavor, the red sauce is hot but not overbearing, and the white sauce is surprisingly light (unlike Halal Guys' heavy, calorie-packed version).

COVID-19: The restaurant does an abysmal job with COVID precautions. On opening day MoCo investigators were writing up warnings due to the lack of social distancing enforcement and the fact that the restaurant owner's family was walking in and out of the restaurant without masks. A week later and the restaurant has 6ft distancing stickers on the ground but they don't enforce it and tables are not 6ft apart. Some employees in the kitchen can be seen not properly wearing masks or gloves.

The value proposition is there, with platters running around 8 bucks. Naz's Halal is a great alternative to Halal Guys but the restaurant has some work to do before it's my go-to.“

“I ordered a medium pepperoni pizza, chicken cheesesteak sub (8inch) and a Philly cheesesteak sub (8 inch). The pizza was good but a little salty. My husband enjoyed the Philly cheesesteak sub and the chicken cheesesteak sub was delicious.

It took about 20 min for the food to be ready.“
