“I got queso, enchiladas suizas, and tres leches cake. The food was very good but the tres leches was a standout!! I didn’t even want to get tres leches since it’s consistently been a disappointment since I moved to Maryland even at highly rated popular places with otherwise fantastic food such as Clavel. It’s usually dry, too sweet, and has weird things like coconut. This cake was simple, super moist, drenched in milk, and lightly sweet. It was perfection. I ended up ordering a full sheet for my daughter’s bday party just to eat it again. Super excited and hope they make it exactly the same way!“

“The food was very tasty (and very generous serving size). I got the Pollo con tajadas and it came huge, practically a rotisserie chicken on a bed of plantain, and covered with cabbage and pickles onions. It was very good, more than I could eat in one setting.

The employees were very polite and helpful.

The dining area was a bit small, but I would highly recommend it for ordering ahead for take-out pickup.“

“I drove up and down Route 40 the other day looking for a place to eat. Nowhere and nothing really caught my eye.Stopped for gas. Saw their little truck in the parking lot. I thought, why not? At first, I thought it was abandoned from the looks of it. But, no. They were steady plugging out food to drivers pulling up.I got the carnitas tacos. Tender. Juicy. And made fresh with a lot of love. Even the tortillas were scratch made.You can't go wrong here.“

“Their food is SO FREAKING GOOD!!!! Like I love it. And they give you A HUGE portion! I ordered from them on DoorDash for the first time a few days ago, and I cried. I cried literal happy tears. They made the dinner I ordered and it tasted just like how my grandmother used to make before she passed away. I will forever go to this place!! And they gave me a whole lot!! “My family and I have been coming to El Azteca since I was little. The food and the service have always been excellent. When I think of going out for dinner with my family, I always picture El Azteca—always. Highly recommended 👌👌“

“Excellent, efficient and clean establishment. Food was ready when I walked in to pick it up at 10-15 min after I placed the order. The Tejas BBQ brisket taste was fantastic. The SriPraPhai drunken noodles with tofu was so-so. Its taste profile was more like Pad Thai than drunken noodles I have had from prior restaurants, so would not get this again. The taste wasn't bad, but not what I expected. Overall, I would still return and try this food concept chain again (similar to a food court in a mall with many restaurant options but with a small pick up window and assembly room in the back).“
