“I don’t typically write reviews, good or bad, however our experience at Xenia on Oct 12th has changed my mind. We were in the area from Boston just for the night and learned of Xenia through our hotels concierge. It was amazing and probably one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. The food was outstanding and prepared beautifully. We had the Spanikopita, Greek salads, shrimp saganaki, and lamb riblets. All very tasty and expertly prepared. What really did it though was the on point service offered by Mary (Maris). Her efficiency, attention to details, thoughtful presentation of the menu, was a 15 out of 10! She is a super star! We were delightfully surprised by the restaurant’s generous hospitality when they sent us a dessert sampler compliments of the house because we were out of state first timers. I only wish weren’t 5+ hours away, as we would be fast regulars for sure!“

“I stopped by this spot for brunch with some friends. The wait time was decent when I arrived, but this place gets packed quickly. The food was pretty good, I tried the eggs benedict and they came out perfect. The home fries were good as well. We were served well and attended to thoroughly by the staff. Overall, this spot was good and will def be going back!“

“My wife and I came there for our three year anniversary of our marriage and Leena was our waitress. The level of service from start to finish was amazing and the food was 5-star. “I went to a Friendsgiving Saturday November 15, 2025 and everyone that was invited had to bring catering. And let me tell you, man did I I hit a home run with Shah’s Halal Food! 💯🗣️😋 the food was delicious and it was gone within an hour lol I ordered chicken, lamb, rice and veggies the very same day and the manager was caught off guard when I told him that I needed within a couple of hours lol the manager and his staff very friendly and professional, even gave me extra sauces and gave me a free soda 👍🏽👌🏽 I truly thank these guys and would recommend them to anyone for any catering service, thanks again Shah’s Halal, until next time 🤛🏽👊🏽“

“This is my new favorite place to eat in Ellicott City! First of all the food is incredible. The garlic sauce we ordered as an appetizer alone would have satisfied me but the food just keep getting better. So fresh and so flavorful!! The owner introduced himself and made us feel so welcome. Their story is incredible! The ambiance was absolutely lovely. They had live musicians who were extremely talented and added a tone that was fun and enjoyable but not at all overwhelming or too loud. The service was impeccable. I cannot recommend enough! We will definitely be going back very soon!“

“We went here for Valentine’s Day and had their Valentine’s Day fixed menu. The steak was cooked perfectly. The food was the perfect amount. The appetizer was shrimp cocktail and crab, and the dessert was a chocolate cake with raspberry sherbet. Everything was delicious. Our server Mamata was wonderful. She got the order correct and she made sure we had everything we needed throughout the entire meal. Will definitely be going back here.“
