Curtis Famous Weiners is a legendary hot dog joint known for its Coney Island sauce with a special mustard. The onions are crisp yet moist, and the buns are steamed perfectly. The flavorful weiners are a must-try, with the hot dogs made to coney perfection, complemented by twice-dipped French fries and a chocolate rickey. The atmosphere feels like stepping into a time capsule from the past, creating a nostalgic experience. The family-owned business has a rich history, and Gino the owner cares deeply about the restaurant, making everyone feel welcome. Customers appreciate the great service, hilarious conversations, and the unique tradition of mailing payment after dining—an old-fashioned touch that adds to its charm. With indoor seating available again, it remains an ideal spot for a classic hot dog experience. Whether visiting for the first time or a regular, Curtis Famous Weiners offers delicious hot dogs, burgers, and fries that even kids will love, making it a must-visit in the area. The milkshake is delicious, and the hotdog with meat and raw onion toppings is recommended for a nostalgic feel.
