Today was the first time we actually ate inside this Jersey Mike’s location. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The staff was busy talking among themselves and did not acknowledge us for some time.
The food itself was spectacular, as we have come to expect from Jersey Mike’s. However, there were a significant number of flies inside the restaurant, and we had to constantly wave them away while trying to eat.

Sat at the drive thru it seemed like forever while they turned their backs to us and then acted so surprised when I beeped the horn, as there wasn't a door bell.

Jersey Mike's Subs in Cumberland has received mixed reviews from customers. Many appreciate the quality of the food, with some saying it is spectacular and the best cheesesteak around the area. Customers often praise the flavor of the subs and the variety of options available. However, service and cleanliness have been points of concern. Several reviews mention inattentive staff, disorganization, and confusion among employees, especially since the location recently opened. Some customers experienced incorrect orders or subs with hardly any meat, leading to disappointment. There were also reports of flies inside the restaurant, which made dining uncomfortable, and complaints about slow drive-thru service, though one reviewer noted a manager who handled a situation well. For those who prefer to order online, there was a negative experience with a customized order not being prepared correctly, resulting in a flat sandwich that did not meet expectations. Despite these issues, some reviewers still enjoy Jersey Mike’s and prefer other locations they have visited, like Altoona, which they find to be more consistent and better organized. Overall, while the food quality remains high, the Cumberland location could improve in customer service, cleanliness, and order accuracy.
