I actually really enjoyed my last experience here but that was at least 2 years ago. Every time I try to come here, they are closed. The hours seem to change often and don't get updated on the Internet. I've struck out the last 2 times I've tried to come. I really enjoyed the wings last time I was there and have been hoping to get them again...but alas have had to leave with rumbling stomach.

Visited on Jan 26, 2024, arriving ~6:00PM. Dining area and bar area both full. The hostess told us it would be about 10 minutes as one group was just finishing up. While we waited 3 more couples/family's came in, and were told 20 – 30 minutes. As the group just finishing up were leaving their table, another family walk in, went right to the table being vacated, and sat down. I stopped the presumed manager, and asked what was going. She started with stating that she is very honest with customers. Ok, so why do people who just arrived get to bypass those waiting. She informed me, sternly, that one of those leaving was the mother of one that arrived. Ok. So I challenged her, asking, sternly, why they get to just bypass those waiting. “Because the person(s) leaving was their mother!” So I guess on their only busy nigh (Friday, according to this person), you should either get there early, or call some one that is there and have them save their table for. We left. The food is decent. Service is decent, other than from the presumed manager. Won’t be returning ever. Restaurants are in the customer service business. A point clearly not relevant to some of Quincy's staff.

So we have been going to Quincy's since they opened. The service is great as well as the food. However tonight for the first time we had a fried chicken sandwich. OMG just absolutely amazing.

worst restaurant food in a very very very long time. Tasted like everything was premade frozen and then microwaved. Only thing good was the blue cheese dressing.:

Great atmosphere. Staff is super attentive and efficient. Quincy’s is a weekly staple for our family, once or twice a week! Love having such great option so close to home.

Amazing steak, good service. Only problem is the music is a little too loud.

My kid has celiac (gluten free mandatory) our server went to the kitchen 5 times to check if her food option would be OK. Turns out they didn't have the ability to cater to her needs. The manager brought prepackaged applesauce for her. We didn't end up eating, but the care the staff shows for their customers is incredible. Great place, cool atmosphere, great people.

Nothing remarkable. The wall in my booth was dirty, the service was friendly but slow, and the food was decent though the portions were on the smaller side. Basically Hornet’s Nest has better food, better service, and actual decor.

Nice sports bar but for 4 in the afternoon they were almost out of steak and didn't have the impossible burger at all. Kind server but the kitchen didn't make our skins for the appetizer so we went without. Love to support Damascus but it was just "okay"

I asked my wife to pick me up a Greek salad with gyro meat, since there aren’t many options near Damascus. I came home to a $21 salad ($6 for the meat, even though the website says $4). A few pieces of lettuce, a little bit of cheese and a some meat. McDonalds has a better salad. Quite possibly the worst salad over $5 that I’ve ever seen.

Ordered steak and cheese no tomato came out with tomato on it sent it back back all they did was brush off the tomatoes reheat up the meat threw it back on the bun. There were bits of tomato on it..

When a "bar" comes to Damascus, a city that had a 50 year alcohol prohibition that didn't end until 2013, it's BIG news. Up until then, and even today (because of the limited choices), most of the drinking any resident of the town does is in neighboring Germantown or Mount Airy. Quincy's has been a welcome addition and I have been coming here to see the same familiar faces since it opened 3-4 years ago. It should be noted that there is no LIQUOR served here - only beer and wine - but that's a Damascus issue, not Quincy's. Damascus will NEVER be a liquor-accessible town, I can assure you of that. In any event, you won't find a nicer and more attentive bartender than Tyler - he works long hours and seemingly lives there - but never looks agitated or gloomy as you'll see with some in that line of work. Another thing I love about Quincy's - as I do with any bar that uses it - is the access to the TOUCHTUNES jukebox. Nothing like controlling the music and the "mood" from your own phone! This is a GREAT place to sit at the bar on Sundays during the fall and watch NFL football all day - very organized and each of the flat screen overhead TV's are labeled with particular games. And hey, this is Damascus after all, so Quincy's doubles as a FAMILY RESTAURANT! Bring the kiddos and enjoy the food (which, by the way, is really good). The only reason I deducted one star? The hours are a tad odd - they are open Wednesday through Saturday from 3PM to 9PM(ish), Sunday 12PM to 9, and closed on BOTH Monday and Tuesday. Naturally, I always have a hankering to be there on...well, Monday or Tuesday. :(

Took extremely long to get our food. My guess... short of cooks. Music too loud, bad choice of music, poor music speaker system. Waitress ok even though she forgot to give us eating utensils. Had to grab them ourselves. Food ok. Will not go there again.
