“I went with friends and had crab dip, lasagna, glass of wine and apple pie. The crab dip tasted more like cream cheese with a bit of crab than crabby; I wouldn't order it again. The lasagna was fresh but too cheesy; it overwhelmed the flavor. The waiter suggested I get extra sauce but it never came. The Syrah wine was crisp and smooth. The apple pie was excellent with a thick crust, lots of nuts and filling and had a yummy buttery taste. I recommend it.I like the ambiance and the family ownership feel of the place. The staff is well trained and efficient. We were annoyed by the numerous times (at least 6) someone stopped by to check on us. It became a distraction to our conversations. Further, we felt very rushed; they provide about 1:45 minutes to dine and they mean it. I suggest dining with no more than 2 people to make it worth the visit.I really like the place but the owner responses to the negative reviews have me concerned if I were to have an issue. I'll be joining a group of 8 soon so I hope it all goes well and we are not rushed in and out. I do another review afterwards.“

“I came in to pick up my food and it turned out that my order was mistakenly taken by another customer. The staff was very apologetic and worked quickly to correct the mistake.I greatly appreciate how accommodating the staff was in trying to rectify the mistake and it showed that they care about their customers and that they want to provide a valuable service. I cannot express the wonderful service I received and will definitely order from this location again.“

“We went on a Friday night, and boy was it busy. It was about a 45 min wait, but we didn't mind. It was worth the wait! We ordered clams, skirt steak and pizza. Everything was delicious and fresh. Overall, we would definitely be back...one of my fave pizzas ever!“

“It can get a little loud in the restaurant at times, but boisterous is better than deathly quiet for sure. Especially when the food is as good as it is here. We haven't had anything bad since we started coming over five years ago and the drinks are great too. Really solid rotating lineup of local draft beers and a great whiskey selection too. Cant recommend Fox's Den enough!“

“We walked in late last night because I noticed they had gluten free (GF) and vegan pizza. The owner greeted us when we walked in and was very excited to make my pizza when he found out I was vegan/GF. He was proud of the level of care and compliance they adhere to when making allergy friendly options. He told us TropQ stands for “Ty’s Recipes Zero (0) Preservatives Quality.” The vegan cheese was outstanding - melted like a real cheese pizza! I will say that the thin GF crust was charred on the outside but soft on the inside, so each slice was a bit “floppy” when you picked it up. But it tasted very good. We will definitely be back!“

“In comparison to chains like Subway, Potbelly, Jersey, Firehouse and even many independent local joints, the sandwich I had here (Italian) bested the others. Where it lacks in length it makes up in quality and amount of meat/veggies. Nice to see management/ownership on the floor ensuring a high service level.“

“We ordered food to go and had a couple drinks while we waited. The bartender was super nice and efficient and kept us updated on our food. We didn't have to wait long. I ordered the club, which was great, and my husband ordered the crabcake sandwich and said it was one of the best he's ever had.“

“My wife and I are pizza connoisseur. I'm originally from N.Y. So, we know good pizza. We have traveled from state to state looking for good pizza. We use to travel to DC to a place that was very close to what we experienced in NY in terms of taste. Now, we go to Moh's. The pizza is outstanding. The cheese is just the right texture and the sauce has excellent flavor. The new owner Rich is also a great guy. I always order the pepperoni and Canadian bacon pizza and they never disappoint. “Pasticcio’s is my favorite spot to grab lunch, and I’m sure their dinners are just as good! Every one of their pizzas are amazing. Their salads (especially with their chicken) are so delicious.My friend has also had catering from here and the food is just so good.The staff are always friendly, it is a bit small inside, not a problem though, and there is outdoor seating as well!“

“We love DiMeos. It's our "go to" place to meet up with friends for dinner. The food is consistently good, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is comfortably casual. “Mamma Roma’s is one of those places that once you taste their food, you become a regular patron and bring others with you to enjoy it, as well. It’s a local, family owned restaurant where you’re greeted warmly and frequently hear Italian spoken between family members. They are from Naples, Italy, play Italian background music and must have brought a wealth of recipes with them when they came to the US. The food is absolutely delicious! They offer a large variety of Italian dishes, as well as a variety of subs and appetizers. They are voted a local favorite place to eat and are definitely a family favorite of ours to frequent. They have a nice dine in area but also have a busy take out business too. Give them a try…you won’t be sorry. ❤️❤️“

“Finally got to try this place. And like many others' experiences, while this came first, I personally went to Nonna Angela's beforehand. They are related indeed! I have been told to have their pizza, especially if I am one that really enjoys NY style. Been there done that, and every place has not been quite a hit for me, but I will try anywhere once! I placed an order for my friends and I to order a Buffalo Chicken pizza, Margherita, and Chicken/Jalapenos/Pineapple pizza. I was to rank them, it's in reverse order. Overall, excellent toppings. But I expected more from the buffalo flavor. The foldable crust was a win -- it took me a minute to determine how much I liked it. It's a softer crust, but it wasn't bad! What REALLY stole the show for me was the garlic knots though... I'm SOOO glad my friend decided to get some! They had me feeling some guilt, but they were so so delicious. I'd come back, but next time I HAVE to try their Nutella knots. By the way, if you dine in, you can get beer and wine!“

“This location is awesome. I highly recommend ordering online via the app. I was in a new area and wanted Pizza Hut, and saw that this location was within 3 miles. So I placed my order online just driving over. Pizza came out fresh a few minutes later and was so delicious. I love how we were shown the pizza before officially leaving the store. “As a pizza connoisseur, I and impressed by the great taste and quality of Marco's pizza. My family happened to stumble upon Marco's when we moved to the area and visited iHop for brunch. We decided to give them a try one Friday and I'm glad we did. As soon as we walked into the store we were greeted with a friendly smile. My first ask was, "do you have slices?" Unfortunately, they do not sell pizza by the slices, so we decided to try a small pie. The portion of bread, to sauce, to cheese, to toppings was perfect! There isn't a sitting area at this location so you're not able to dine in but that's true with a lot of pizza restaurants. Oh, we are from up north so my deduction comes from comparing them to the NY style pizzas I'm used to eating from home. If NY style pizza is not your style, do not take my deduction for anything other than a preference.“

“I get Sweet Amy’s pizza all the time, I came up from North Beach to grab some today. The store said online that they are open. It’s Saturday and 4 pm in the afternoon and they are closed. “My husband and I had a carving for a 90s style pizzeria's and we found one in Anthony’s. There is live music every Thursday. Tonight was a piano bar vibe that was just awesome. My husband and I sang along while eating our pizza, wings, and Caesar salads.The customer service was great and food came quickly and was tasty. The salad was delicious - fresh lettuce, grilled chicken, crispy bacon, parmesan cheese, croutons, and their house dressing. “Always consider something from SR pizza and subs when I find myself in Edgewater around dinner time. The chicken parmesan hits the spot as does the white pizza. Pleasant and friendly staff. It doesn't hurt that I can pop down the sidewalk for a great adult beverage selection while I wait.“

“It’s our first time to eat here. The pizza we ordered is topped with avocado, bacon, and lettuce. We also ordered Kung pao spaghetti which is surprisingly very good. I just wished that the portion is a little more than what we got since we paid $22 for the small portion of spaghetti. The pizza has 6 slices and it cost $20 and the size is about 11inches wide. The server who took our order is nice. The pizza for the kids is not so nice and a little dry and lack flavor. My child did not finish it. We will try other pizza when we come back but will not order the kid’s pizza for my child.“
