Great old school carryout food and the shop is almost like a museum of events over the last 57 years since they opened.
I had the great pleasure of accidentally stopping at this little hole in the wall in a strip mall. To my amazement I met this incrediable, personable, friendly and skilled man. He was raised on a farm in the midwest and relocated. He is a skilled farmer and it reflects in his pizza, I'm sure his other food too. I have to say it was an experience I will never forget. I am hopeful they have kept all the same pizza recipes. Pizza Oven always had the best tasting pizza and the thin crust was perfect.
If any pizza oven lovers are out there please let us know. I moved to Florida years ago and would take an adventure to go and eat that special pizza again
Pizza Oven is a restaurant with a long history, having been visited by one customer since they were a baby in the early 90s and another in the 70s and 80s. Although it has changed ownership and sadly no longer has the hats or arcade machines from the past, the new owners are committed to perfecting the restaurant. Many customers believe they have kept all the same pizza recipes, and the pizza is still considered to have the best taste, with a perfect thin crust. The steak n cheese is also noted as good, though some may find the pizza to be a bit overcooked. The salad is still described as a mixture of vegetables. Overall, while there have been some changes, many customers still enjoy visiting Pizza Oven for the delicious pizza, the retro atmosphere, and the awesome customer service.
