“My family and I have enjoyed Devens Deli for a few decades now. Deven, Hetal and the rest of the staff are absolutely amazing people who make amazing food. When my family comes to town and I tell them I know where to get the best shrimp salad sandwich, they go back to Virginia knowing the place to go is Devens Deli. The Soft shell crab sandwich is awesome and a good price, as is the fantastic crab cakes (which can give any of those “4 star restaurants” a run for their money) 🦀👍. Hetal makes THE BEST chocolate eggs around the Easter season and my son and I made it a tradition to get them every year!! I’ve been to this cafe a couple of times and had great food and drinks both times. Most recently I went for Saturday brunch with a friend. I should have expected it, but the line was very long. That said, the girl at the counter was working her tail off not only talking orders but also making all of the beverages for each order (including seasonal lattes). Everyone in the kitchen seemed to be working non stop, so I give them kudos for such a delicious meal.

I got The Ian (toast with smoked salmon and poached eggs) and my friend got the OG breakfast bowl. Both were delicious and we cleaned our plates. We also both got oat milk PSL’s which were flavorful and yummy.

We sat upstairs, which was a bright and had plenty of extra seating despite the downstairs being pretty packed. We sat and talked for a while, and someone came around to ask how the meal was and take our dishes, which was nice. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly and helpful.

I didn’t order any baked goods, but I did notice they have a variety of Greek sweets as well as even some vegan baked goods. They all looked incredible, and I’ll be trying something next time.“
