Ordered the Vegan Tofu Ramen because it was listed as vegan. Upon opening it had an egg in it (not vegan) as well as bonito flakes which are made from fish! So now I have no clue if the broth is vegan. The broth also appears to be pork based. DO NOT EAT HERE IF YOU ARE VEGETARIAN OR VEGAN!

We usually visit this place for their skewers/kabobs, they are always good. Desserts are good like pumpkin pie and coconut dessert they both are fried desserts but good with not too much sugar. The only difference from past 2 times we feel different is owner is greeting everyone but us. We don't expect him to greet is all the time but definitely change in attitude, suddenly cannot understand English even if we say the same as others which he can understand well. I would appreciate people can be kind and less discriminating.

Great food, great staff, great atmosphere. The Ramen is amazing, the Kabobs are delicious. The kaarage and edamame were also wonderful. It’s a great spot, everyone is kind and respectful. Overall the environment was calm and quiet, but we went later in the night. 10/10 ramen spot. Every time I get a chance to go, it makes my day.

Wheelchair accessibility: It’s not the most wheelchair accessible. But they have DoorDash and take out options.

Surprisingly good. Ambience, location, and even the menu was very down to earth. Despite the looks - previous restaurant’s decor, dishes, and cups still remaining - the substance of food we ordered was at minimum better than average and probably better than most EC can offer. Tonkotsu ramen broth was light but well balanced. Handmade dumplings tasted like handmade in a good way. Kara-age, Japanese fried chicken seasoned well. The best surprise was Green Onion fried rice, a simple, maybe even humble fried rice smoky and just right. In sum, the chef really knows what they’re doing.

This is a gem in the Columbia/Ellicott-City south of Baltimore metro area! My wife and I patronized there for the very first time today. And the experience was fabulous! The Chinse-style burger (肉夹馍), the lamb-meat-on-the-stick (烤羊肉串), mixed vegetables of southern China style (烤麸什锦),and the rest of the entries that we ordered, were terrific! I particularly liked its Chinse-style burger, which is VERY delicious and authentic. My wife enjoyed immensely its lamb-meat-on-the-stick, which is, with its unique mild spicy flavor, authentic with respect to its unique originality from Xinjiang and ShaanXi areas. To get lamb-meat-on-the-stick with the same or similar kind of flavor and taste, my wife would have needed to travel to Rockville or New York City. And she's so thrilled and appreciative that we have it here local in Ellicott City! The setting is also elegant, clean, stylish, countryish, e, and thoughtful, which offers a great dining environment (which most people expects) as well as small and large tables for groups of different size. It shows the delicate touch and understanding of the dining customers by the ownership of this gem! We will definitely re-patronize this gem in the near future!

Fantastic food and service. Wish they kept the tables and floors cleaner. The tables were smelly.
The Ramen was good. The Karage was good. The takiyoki was excellent. The spicy tantanmen was not really spicy. The garlic oil tonkotsu was delish. The prices were very reasonable. Would go back ..

I dined in alone around noon on a weekday and the place was empty. I didn't really know what to expect, but decided to give the place a try, and I'm glad I did. I got the black garlic oil donkotsu ramen with a lamb skewer. The ramen was decent although the broth could have been hotter and the noodles chewier. The skewer did not have the yakitori style of Japan, but more Chinese style with cumin seasoning famous as a street food in China, esp among the Uighur people. Overall decent and worth trying again although it leans less as an authentic Japanese ramen establishment IMO I've visited in the past but more influenced by Chinese flavors.

The kabobs are awesome! They are flavorful and they are prepared quick. The ramen has the perfect serving, it’s not too much and and not too little.

There will always be a shortage of food delivered, so it is recommended not to order takeout! Very poor service attitude. Don't go!

I love the spicy miso ramen and their various Kabobs. The seasoning is so good. Sometimes there have been difficulty with communication due to language barrier. But the staff are always nice.

My fiancé & I had one of the BEST meals we’ve had in a long time here. The pork in my ramen bowl was so tender it fell apart with my chopsticks - delicious. We will be back!!!
