Ordered $1,400 catering food for my uncle’s funeral service as this location was his favorite for a long time. Turns out this establishment couldn’t even bother providing fresh food, and made the entire thing the night before. Fried catering items over 12 hours before the event, causing fried items to have hardened texture. Now, I have my own share of experience in the food industry — it seems they didn’t even bother re-frying them. Texture and taste screamed out to me that it was microwaved before being delivered. Not even within the acceptable, safe food temperature range.

Entirely disrespectful and I cannot even put it into words how this establishment neglected years of patronage my uncle provided for this location.

I’ll never be visiting again. 이런 일을 대충 마음 없이 하시면 부끄럽지 않으세요?

It is not mainstream and gives the vibes of walking in to a Korean restaurant into an authentic family owned restaurant in Korea.

Have been here several times and loved it every single time.

Its not flashy, it's not upscale, and it's busy. The people there hardly speak english, but everything is so authentic. They serve barley tea, they have onion salad, and it makes you know that they are legit.

Please don't go here if you are in a rush, looking for something fancy, or are not patient to work past the language barrier.

Do go here if you love authentic food, a personable experience, and friendly staff.

This is THE BEST KOREAN BBQ in Maryland! I tried a good 20-30 korean bbq restaurants, and i am always coming back to this restaurant. It's just a family run restaurant that serves really good korean food. Korean bbq set meal was delicious, and the seafood pancake is a MUST! The service was amazing and the price is not bad either. If you are ever in the Ellicott City area, i recommend giving this place a try.

Good food, so-so service and a "cold" atmosphere.

Vegetarian options: The purely vegetarian options are very limited.

Parking: No issues with parking.

Wheelchair accessibility: There is a wheelchair ramp, but it's located at the very end of the shopping strip.

Not sure why this place isn't more highly rated, but I accidentally discovered this place when looking for a Korean restaurant that has a great banchan lineup. Went in for BBQ - will try their regular menu next time - and was not disappointed. The banchan were really great, and refills came quickly. Service was excellent, the server made sure each meat dish was cooked to perfection and did not push me to finish the meat quickly so she can cook the next one - most other Korean BBQ places will put them on a dish and let them get cold before I can finish it, which sucks. The only thing I would say about this very clean restaurant is that it's a little small so if there are a lot of people you may need to wait. Highly recommend anyone in the area to try this place out.

This place is so bizarre! Went in and had an ok experience. Yooke je jang was alright. Had the bossam which was very fresh but the sesame oil on top ruined it.Thought it would be great to get some food Togo and ordered the monk fish stew. For 50 dollars you would think they would add actual pieces of fish but they only added beansprouts. And for those of you who don't know a 5 pound bag of beansprouts is 5.99.Don't get take out. Maybe stick with bbq

Food is always good, service is a bit slow. Only gave 3 star review because I was told by the server that it was their policy that I couldn't take all of my left over food to go. Only the main dish. Korean food is served with assortment of side dishes and I wanted to take what I had left over home with my main course. I found the rule ridiculous. I should be able to take what I paid for home.

My first time trying a Korean place in Maryland and I absolutely love it here. The waitress was so helpful and nice. There were about 9 or so side dishes that they had to offer (even if you didn't order the bbq). The short ribs were also flavorful and the Kimchi soup did not disappoint. Would definitely come back!

Food was mediocre for the price. Their side dishes are good but the bibimbap was average. The service was non existent and we had to ring the bell for people to stop by.
