My family and I are traveling to see friends who are new to the area. We thought it would be fun to support a small local business, so we went into Ellicott Distilling Co. I was at the back of the group with my medical alert service dog. I have my professionally trained service dog for epilepsy and diabetic alert and assistance. Upon our arrival, the owner of the establishment greeted my friends warmly and started to seat them. When he saw my service dog, he told us my dog was not welcome inside and needed to be outside at their seating area. I calmly tried to educate him on the ADA law and my rights, however, he kept interrupting me and continuously insisting I sit outside. The temperature was 97 degrees, so it was not safe to be seated outside, especially with a black labradoodle. More importantly, this would segregate me from the rest of the bar patrons. We ended up being forced to leave the establishment due to noncompliance with the ADA and the owner refusing to comply with my rights as a disabled person with a service dog. Being denied access to a public bar by the owner due to my disability was belittling and incredibly disrespectful.

From the moment we walked in the door until we left we had fun! We did not know any of the other people, but made instant friends. The food was good and the drinks were even better! We learned, we drank and we crafted our personal bottles. We will definitely return!

We did a distilling class for a friend's bachelorette party and it was a blast! We learned a lot, had many fun drinks, and took home our own alcohol! It was such a good price for the experience too, and they made it super easy to book. It was so fun making our own labels too! I will definitely come back when I'm in Ellicott City next

Amazing! My wife and I love Ellicott Distilling Co.!! They are both extremely professional and make you feel like you are exactly where you need to be. Whether you need a drink to chill out from a long work week or are in the mood to party. They somehow seem to cover both bases. If you haven't been you need to go!

We had a fabulous Sunday girls outing at Ellicott Distilling! We attended the Sunday distilling class where we distilled our own bottle of vodka. We were able to choose our flavor, create a personalized label, tour the distillery, sample other spirits and participate in trivia with prizes as well. On top of that there was a Bloody Mary, mimosa and taco bar included. The owners and staff were soooo kind and accommodating. This would be perfect for friends, birthdays, date night, bachelor/bachelorette parties or just a fun outing. I would definitely return!
Super fun and cool place to chill out during at hot festival weekend. Erika was so nice and knowledgeable. The cocktails though... amazing! Bonus was enjoying then in the mountainside gazebo. A must see in Ellicott City.

omg, this place! erika, with a k, is delightful! i don't know who taught her to make french 75's but hers was tastily unique.the rest of the regulars were awesome, there were a bunch of irregulars who were stupendous, dancing! music! cake!just amazing.
