Had a wonderful Mother's Day Brunch@ Portalli's in Ellicott City! Charming, historic place that's been totally renovated after the flood. Food was good, with Made to Order Omlettes that were delish, plus, unlimited Mimosas & Bloody Mary's included w/ brunch! (Only had 1 Bloody Mary as I was driving back to NJ later that day.) Warm, inviting atmosphere. Beautifully redecorated. Food is always fresh and amazing. The crab corn chowder is delish and a definite for every visit. Ghost Bar is a new welcome addition and brunch is next on my list. If not visiting the restaurant, look for Portalli's at local events. They're a huge part of the community and usually have a spot at festivals and gatherings. Check them out! Well worth the trip!

We have visited twice recently. The first time we sat downstairs and were pleasantly surprised at the atmosphere- this isn't the place it was before the flood. Everything is bright and airy feeling. Add that to the great food and we were happy to return. The second time we sat upstairs and enjoyed ourselves even more with the piano player. He wasn't too loud or too soft.
