Always been a good shop with cozy vibes, but I was disappointed by their customer service. I’d completed the buy 10, get one free punchcard, and when trying to redeem it recently, was told they don’t honor them anymore. That felt a little sour, especially after being a regular there. Turns out I hate the gelatin in these drinks, but the staff was great, the shop is very cute, and the non gelatin parts of the smoothie ordered were delicious. So if you like bubble teas and similar, this place is great!

I love this place, I’ve been coming for many months. I come here at least once a week since I frequently work in the area. The tea is delicious, and I am a bit of a tea snob. Especially when it comes to oolongs… the peach milk oolong is my favorite. ❤️ the food and snacks are also VERY reasonably priced. I get onigiri every time as well. I love the eel and avocado. I also love the coconut shrimp. Very reasonably priced great quality tea and snacks. I bring my friends now too!

This disparity in treatment based on appearance is unacceptable. If your business can't provide equal service to all customers, I won't be returning or recommending your café to anyone. Your business thrives because of all customers, and everyone deserves great service, regardless of their appearance.
Set aside all prejudices and treat every customer with dignity.
Also, the music was excessively loud and didn’t suit the atmosphere. Softer, more appropriate background music would have been a better choice for a cafe.
Most of all, the bubble tea was not good at all. It had a weird aftertaste and was nothing special. It seemed like they just mixed milk and tea. In my opinion, it was too expensive for a drink that I could have made myself. All the hype about this tea is just a marketing tactic.
If you are a person of color, please go somewhere where you are accepted and valued as a patron.

I've been to the locations in Annandale and Fairfax and the atmosphere is really inviting. This one in Ellicott City felt a bit dreary and dark on the inside. I do say, the employees are friendly and the drinks are great!!

Really good service and prices. Lots of flavor options-two people in our group didn't like their drinks (new to boba so not really sure what they like yet lol) but the girl was nice enough to let both of them get a different drink for no upcharge. And the price was much lower than expected!

We live close, so we have been stopping by a lot over the years. The service and food has been consistently good, and I don't think we've had any big issues which is really good considering we've been here a lot of times now.I recommend taking advantage of their sugar and ice adjustment system to customize your drinks, because a full sugar drink can be quite sugary. I also want to recommend the hot versions of the drink for the cold winter days.
