Based on everything I've heard about this place I expected it to be much busier. The wife and I went for lunch on a Saturday. We were seated immediately and the first thing I noticed was how much more space they have inside than it appears from the outside. Our servers were polite and took care of us in a timely manner. The sushi was fresh and filling. We had the Hollywood, Main St, and Pink Lady rolls. Would recommend all of them. The Crab Rangoons and Miso Soup were also very good. Will have to return to try more!

Lighting sucked. Chairs were cool. They wouldn’t let me buy whiskey that was sitting on the shelf. Wouldn’t type in a card because the swipe wasn’t working, instead required that we walk down stairs to pay only to go back upstairs to finish our drinks and deserts. Food was good as always, but was by and far the worst experience anyone in our groups has ever had at Umi. Disappointing. Been there a multitude of times over the last 5 years.

This is a great place to stop and eat at. The food was amazing! We got the California roll with real crabmeat, and chicken and steak hibachi. It also came with a salad and soup. Eating their food was an experience like the flavors really stood out in each dish. The service was great too. We were even given a free piece of cheesecake. I say if you want delicious food in a nice atmosphere, go eat there now!

This place might make the best sushi that I have eaten. The menu is extremely extensive, with some very unique items, all at a reasonable cost. I've never had steak in my sushi until now, and that was a game changer. The atmosphere is great, with their patio/deck providing a great view of trees and water behind the building. Service was attentive and friendly. I will definitely be tempted to come back whenever I'm back in the area.

This is the worst sushi I've had in Maryland every one tells me it's good or asks me to go is only reason I've gone more than once and can honestly say I've regret multiple times. I've never had a good experience here i can't believe myself I've ended here again worst customer service least fresh fish and worst execution of sushi this is not sushi this is American/Chinese sushi joint only reason they are not out of business is location and customers don't know sushi

This has become our favorite date night sushi restaurant, especially when the weather is good! Little Red Riding Hood and avocado bomb with tempura shrimp are our favorites and the clear soup is soooo good! Friendly, efficient staff and love the boat presentation for a crowd!
