Yetnal Asian Food Service House

I cannot believe the disrespect that my mom had to experience here. She went to this restaurant to pick up some side dishes for me, and they told her they would give her an item she was looking at for cheaper.

She said ok and went to buy 3 things that would have totaled 32 dollars instead of 37 in price. At the register, she gave 40 dollars cash and waited for the ~8 dollars in return. They told her okay thank you and didn’t give her any change.

She was confused and asked why and they said “it’s because of tax” which makes no sense, tax is 6%. Then she asked for clarification and the short haired woman said it’s because the register recognizes it at the normal price of $15. My mom was taken aback but asked for at least the change that comes out of the 40 after the original price of everything. They said ok here how about you take $2 back.

I find this entire interaction to be extremely disrespectful. Is it really necessary to try and persuade someone into buying something to this extent and at the end you only received a couple dollars more, I don’t know.

Very authentic from food selection, drinks offered, to interior atmosphere, wall decorations and the service. There is nothing fancy here, only hearty Korean vibes and food here. Everything is reasonably priced given the shareable size portions of each order. If you understand Korean culture, you will know how authentic this place is and will not complain about the service. It was good service to my opinion 😉

My friend & I were looking for a place in MD that serves good marinated crabs (게장, Gejang). We almost went all the way to VA, but thankfully she found this place and we were not disappointed!! Really great food, great service, and looking forward to visiting again soon !! (We also got seafood pancake [파전, Pajeon] and it was so good, 10/10).

The only reason I gave the atmosphere 4 stars is because I wished they played some music, but other than that, really great place to get your Korean food cravings satiated!

I go here a lot with my husband and daughter. We love this place. It is right up the street from where I grew up. I love this place. I was craving marinated crabs. I dreamed of having this korean delicacy! They had it and I'm in love. I saved the rest for my mom to eat.

I bought injeolmi and sirutteok yesterday and put them in the refrigerator, and ate them this morning, but I felt that the sirutteok tasted stale, so I threw them away. Don’t buy sirutdeok.
