“One of my absolute favorites in Baltimore City; your experience starts as you enter a uniquely decorated space- covered in plants and coziness! High ceiling - open space - big windows, yet simple decor transforms you into a different kind of county!
Delicious, creative, beautiful- must try ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“Highly recommend this restaurant. The staff was phenomenal from the hostess to the bartender to the food servers and the chefs. The food was DELICIOUS!! Ordered the pulpo followed by the lasagna special and the most juiciest delicious steak I’ve ever eaten! Flavored and cooked to perfection. Definitely will be back.“

“These empanadas are SO good I drive from the other side of Baltimore to get them sometimes. I particularly recommend the chicken pesto and chorizo potato ones. They all have their names pressed into the edge of the empanada which is so cute and handy to differentiate them. Don't skip the sauce, it makes them even more yummy. The staff are very friendly and helpful too!
It can be a bit hard to find parking depending on the time of day, but that's how it is at cross street market and the empanadas are worth it. I've never had trouble finding a table to sit at.“

“I ♡ El Habanero! The location is a food truck parked at the Carroll Motor Fuels gas station at the intersection of Eastern Ave and Kane St. They no longer have a menu on the truck and now only serve tacos, which are super delicious and incredibly affordable. The kind man told us that they served beef, pork, and chicken tacos, so we got one of each meat - 3 tacos for $10 flat. BRING CASH. The kind people working also don't really speak any English, but the transaction and service was very simple and fast regardless. I am definitely going to go back whenever I get gas again (also, the gas at this station is usually the lowest on this street as well. Very convenient!)The taste of the tacos were very fresh, the salsas are strong and spicy and accent the cilantro and onions very well, all over a slightly chewy soft corn tortilla. 3 tacos is a perfect portion, but if you're really hungry, I would say go for 4. My favorite was definitely the beef taco.
Kid-friendliness: Well, I don't think they have a mean bone in their bodies.
Parking: You can just park in the gas station for a few minutes, it's fine. If you're really worried or the gas station is busy, you can just park at the nearby Wendy's or Home Depot and just walk literally one minute. You don't have to pay for parking here.
Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of space for wheelchairs, however, do note that it IS a food truck, so you might have to speak up.“

“Taqueria y Pupuseria Bendicion De Dios is a casual Latin American spot on E Lombard St known for its Mexican and Salvadoran street-food flavors, especially its tacos and pupusas. The menu focuses on traditional comfort items like handmade pupusas with fillings like cheese, pork, and beans, served with curtido and salsa, as well as a variety of tacos and other hearty dishes that highlight fresh ingredients and bold seasonings.
What I appreciate about this place is its authentic, no-frills vibe — it feels like a friendly neighborhood taqueria where the emphasis is on real, satisfying flavors rather than fancy presentation. The tacos are simple but tasty, and the pupusas deliver that classic Salvadoran comfort-food texture and taste. It’s also a relatively affordable stop if you’re looking for a casual lunch or dinner with Latin American flair.
The service is generally friendly and welcoming, and the spot has a laid-back, local feel that makes it a good choice for grabbing a quick, flavorful bite without fuss. Overall, it’s a solid pick if you’re into authentic pupusas and street-style tacos in Baltimore“

“This became a staple during our trip to Maryland Deathfest this year. Ate there most of the week. Best everything I ever had. We tried all of the flavors of empanadas, the Peruvian chicken, rice, Mac n cheese, and I can't believe I'm saying this, but they had the best darn brussel sprouts I've ever had! Very friendly staff as well!“

“Well I walked in to check out this place, because I used to go to Chicken Rico's on Eastern Avenue, And I'm I didn't want to go so far from my house. I was totally surprised. The young man who waited on me was very kind. I wanted to taste a little piece because he said ours is not like Chicken Rico's. Then he gave me a small piece to taste and I love it. The first day I got a happy chicken with two sides in the second day I got a quarter chicken with two sides. I'll be back again.“

“I have gone to this place first for the pupusas, then for the pollo con tajadas, and each time I have never been disappointed, on the flavor, the portion size, or the nice size of the pupusas, the staff that works there, is very nice, professional, attentive and respectful, the place before and now more in the middle of the pandemic is very well-maintained, always clean. Will always recommend and comeback time and time again. The only downside is parking, well you can not blame anyone, because this restaurant is smack in the middle of the block on the busy Eastern ave.... but it's WORTH IT!!“

“The food was seasoned perfectly, every bite had that authentic Dominican flavor that hits just right. The yaroa was absolutely amazing, creamy, flavorful, and layered just the way it should be. You can tell they know what they’re doing in the kitchen. Plus, the merengue music set the perfect vibe, it felt like being back on the island! Definitely coming back for the food and the energy. 🇩🇴“

“I live only a few doors down and purchase most of what I need here. They have a wide variety of grocery items and most of anything else you may need. Prices are very reasonable and everyone is very friendly there. Would rather shop here whenever possible and support the local economy.“

“I wrote a review earlier about how amazing the food was. Dissapointing...I had my friend pickup another order for me and HE GOT MORE FOOD FOR THE SAME ORDER.WOW!SIS... I hear you....you don't want me to come back. I know you don't care but ill stay away from your lil eatery and let others know as well.I got a scoop of rice and very little meat on the tacos. I assumed thats just how you run your lil place.Clearly you just decided to give me a little bit of food for $14....that's crazyMy friend was white and got so much food for the same order. What a joke!“

“My wife was visiting with some friends so I was looking for a nice little place to have a meal this morning and this place was absolutely 100% perfect I couldn't make up my mind whether I wanted the steak and shrimp fajitas or the pork dinner so I ordered both figuring I might take one home not a chance the food was delicious and for dessert I wanted the carrot cake or the cheesecake but they had neither and the girl offered me this other piece of cake with whipped cream topping and cinnamon it was absolutely fabulous I definitely will be revisiting“

“Looked at the reviews and it is true, waited in line for about 30 minutes. Chicken was juicy and flavorful on the top but needed more flavor inside. They PACKED the sides up. Overall the price quality and price of the food was good. 4/5 stars for the food as it was yummy but not blown out of the water and it needed more flavor inside.“

“A perfect 10 experience! The chicken, as always, was crispy and cooked to perfection, but what truly made this visit stand out was the service. I especially want to highlight Daniel, the manager, who was attentive to every detail from the moment we walked in. His service was friendly and prompt, and he answered all our questions with a smile. It's a pleasure to visit a place where leadership is evident in the positive atmosphere and efficiency. We will definitely be back soon!“

“To: Say something about this... Show All ↓ Judith Barnard Smith recommended K & D Restaurant. Just now · The owners of this restaurant were so gracious to me and my friend who were at the Restaurant Depot last Thursday....they noticed me trying to help load along with my friend who is a co-owner of a restaurant here in Union Bridge...("Buttersburg Inn".)...they noticed I am no spring chicken, and my friend, Jim, is a tiny bit chubby...hah!...and they came right over and between Jueves and her husband, they loaded the whole dang truck for us.....How unexpectedly kind...not something one sees very often anymore.... I asked about their restaurant, got a card to visit.....and I did ask whether they make homemade flour tortillas...answer: yes ! Will for sure visit, and so much appreciated their thoughtfulness....their food has gotta be great..... K & D Restaurant 4.4 ★ · $$ · Mexican Restaurant 3706 Eastern Ave, Baltimore, Maryland 21224“
