It’s a cute little Bahamas style atmosphere with beautiful views of the bay, palm trees & yummy food! Hosted a “Celebration of Life” for my late father, last month on 9/7/24 which turned out great. The new owner is awesome, supportive, creative & hard working. His staff handled our party well & everyone was happy. We always love going to this spot for our family reunions/gatherings. The broth is rich, fresh, and perfectly balanced — not spicy at all, just right. The meat is without any fat or tough veins, and that is extremely important to me. It tastes very fresh, not like deep-frozen meat, and it’s incredibly soft and tender.
The soup is simply excellent. I actually hunt for authentic Mexican soups like this! I’m a truck driver, and most of the food I come across on the road is terrible… but this place is a big exception.

“I'm so happy I found this place. I recently went through an awful divorce. I was so unhappy and lonely. These women really cheered me up. Such beautiful nice ladies. It's nice to come in and relax and have a nice conversation with someone. The customer service is wonderful. I always get a delicious and very filling meal. Tonight I had the Special. It was the shrimp bake. Mac and cheese with lots of shrimp for 15 dollars. You can't get that kind of quality meal for a price like that anywhere these days. And now that the grumpy cook is gone I've noticed an upgrade in the food and the atmosphere. You can catch me several nights a week at the pool tables shooting a game and drinking a bud light.“

First after sitting there a bit a VERY large picture fell off of the wall directly onto me and my 18 month old daughter, then there was a gnat in our drink, and my dad walked outside and a piece of shingle fell off and hit him in the head. Like, I seriously couldn’t make this up. 🤣 like I said food was good and so was our waiter but I feel like a little more could have been done after the picture situation. A cupcake and free drink didn’t really cut it. Had it just fallen on me I wouldn’t have been so upset but the fact that it fell on my daughter made my soul leave my body. We will give it another shot at some point and chock tonight up to the full moon or something just be careful where you sit your kiddos.“

“I was out running errands and instead of going for fast food or other popular restaurants, I went to this bar because they had corned beef and cabbage on St Patrick's day which was awesome so I tried their spaghetti and meat sauce. It took a while to get waited on, food was was good. The sides they listed on menu board were extra cost and do not come with your meal which I thought was odd. They didn't have any parmesan cheese for my meal which I missed having. They have plenty of tv's to watch the O's. Pool tables,shuffleboard, several beers on tap. I will go back because I try to support local bussinesses. I think I caught them on an off day thus the reason I gave 4 stars.“

The food was delicious as usual and the service was phenomenal. Abby did a great job taking care of us. Big shout out to the kitchen staff and everyone else who assisted in making my Mom feel loved and appreciated. I live 2 hours from the restaurant, but I make it a point to stop in almost everytime for food and drinks. Everyone has their own opinion concerning the restaurant and staff. In 10 years I have never had a bad experience here or seen anything out of the ordinary reacting to the staff or ownership. I have seen intoxicated patrons but that's it. Do yourself a favor and stop in for a meal or a drink. You won't be disappointed.“
