“Wow! We ordered carryout from Ellie’s Tavern and were absolutely blown away. The food was incredible — huge portions, hand-cut fries, house-made blue cheese, and perfectly hand-breaded chicken tenders. The Crab Rangoon dip and Buffalo Cauliflower were outstanding. The service was awesome — fast and friendly — even while busy. We can’t wait to dine in next time. What an awesome Canton neighborhood gem!“

The beans & rice were very flavorful but dry. Had our dog with us so we sat at a sidewalk table. Server was very friendly and helpful.“

The broth is rich, fresh, and perfectly balanced — not spicy at all, just right. The meat is without any fat or tough veins, and that is extremely important to me. It tastes very fresh, not like deep-frozen meat, and it’s incredibly soft and tender.
The soup is simply excellent. I actually hunt for authentic Mexican soups like this! I’m a truck driver, and most of the food I come across on the road is terrible… but this place is a big exception.

“Absolutely amazing experience. Everything we ordered was delicious. Nice prices.

The steak was very good—slightly on the fatty side, but this isn’t a dedicated steakhouse, so that’s completely understandable. The portion size was enormous, and all the sides were excellent. The onion rings were crispy and flavorful, the fries were great, and even the asparagus was cooked perfectly.

The crab cream soup was outstanding—rich, creamy, and full of flavor. But the real star of the evening was the crab cake. It completely won me over. The large chunks of crab meat were incredible, and the preparation was absolutely perfect.

The Caesar salad was also excellent and huge—easily large enough to share. The beer selection was great as well. I especially enjoyed the SGP House Hazy and Sierra Nevada.

The service was fantastic. Our server was friendly, attentive, professional, and made the entire evening even more enjoyable.

“I just wanted to say what an awesome experience Barracudas and Billy provided for my family. We held a surprise 90th birthday party for my Mom there on Saturday and it was perfect. The food was delicious as usual and the service was phenomenal. Abby did a great job taking care of us. Big shout out to the kitchen staff and everyone else who assisted in making my Mom feel loved and appreciated. I live 2 hours from the restaurant, but I make it a point to stop in almost everytime for food and drinks. Everyone has their own opinion concerning the restaurant and staff. “The Worthington is an awesome bar in Canton square, we will for sure be coming back. Not only was the food and drinks really good but so was our service by our bartender Leo!

Leo was an outstanding bartender he was welcoming, attentive, and clearly passionate about what he does! He did a great job at explaining the many drinks they had and offering his advice on if we would like them or not. Because of his recommendations we tried our first espresso martini (highly recommend) he also made great food recommendations. We ended getting the fondue Burger and the Buffalo wings, the fondue burger I highly recommend! The wings were also good. After eating here and having drinks we will for sure be coming back
What really stood out above the food and drinks was Leo’s friendly personality and attention to detail during our lunch at the Worthington. It is hard to find a bartender who actually cares about the patrons these days but Leo made sure to be vested in the conversation you were having with him and even if something pulled him away from the conversation we were having he made sure to comeback and pick it back up where we left off!“
