Porter Soul Food Restaurant LLC offers outstanding and delicious soul food. The catfish is excellent, perfectly seasoned, cooked to perfection, and served in generous portions. Popular dishes include smothered pork chops, turkey wings, meat loaf, and ox tails. Sides are a major highlight, with candied yams that melt in your mouth, flavorful collard greens, stewed tomatoes, potato salad, string beans, mashed potatoes with gravy, and French fries covered in gravy. The cornbread and banana pudding for dessert are also excellent. The food is not too salty and is offered at a great price.
The service is awesome, friendly, warm, welcoming, and professional. The atmosphere is spotless and beautiful with peaceful music. The restaurant has moved from Cambridge to Federalsburg, MD.
