“I had a taste for some soul food & found this place. I read the reviews & decided to give it a try. Oxtails were ok but not as good a reviews led on, country baked beans with meat very good, Pork baby back ribs were excellent, collards were ok, chitterlings were very clean. I didn't care for the fried cabbage (Mines was burnt) nor the potato salad. The Macaroni and Cheese had no flavor (I didn't even eat it). The sweet potato pie 🥧 was excellent and a good portion size. Overall, customer service was excellent, atmosphere was wonderful, however, for the price point the portion size was small for the meals IMHO. For three (3) platters and one (dessert) I paid $70.47.

I would try them again but I won't get the Oxtails, Fried Cabbage, Potato Salad, Macaroni and Cheese, nor the Chitterlings.

I love to support our local businesses and I loved the atmosphere and personnel I interacted with; I'd be more discerning in my meal choices in the future. But, I'll definitely give them another try.”

“This morning I was having a rough start to my day. Walked in to get my coffee to pleasant staff, smiling and saying good morning. I grab my app order, go to my car, reach to move something out of my front seat and knocked my entire iced coffee all over my front seat. I walked in and asked the manager (I am sorry I didn't catch his name) if I could borrow a roll of paper towels because I had spilled my coffee. He handed them to me without hesitation and told me to bring my ticket back in so he could make me another drink. He made it, brought it out to me and then walked in to grab some wet towels to clean my seats. I've always had a great experience when coming here but this one helped salvage my morning. Thank you to the Manager on 7/28 around 735am. I truly appreciate your generosity!!”

“Every time me and my mom go for our little outing we always get exceptional service. Drive through moves very quickly. Workers are polite and friendly. The food is always hot and fresh. I've had breakfast and lunch so both services are great. I haven't dined inside so I can't say anything about how the inside dining experience is like. If they do pull you around to wait on food it comes out fast and its rare we've had to do that any way. Good place. Better then Cambridge, sailsbury and Seaford mcdonalds”

“So there I was, on my way back from Ocean City passing an intersection that had such a STRONG and BEAUTIFUL Smokey aroma that I had to stop at this little operation by the side of the road. I was expecting the chicken to be decent, but it was STELLAR, and would give every place near me a run for their money. I say this only because my hometown has amazing Peruvian Charcoal chicken everywhere, but this one was so unique and seasoned PERFECTLY. And the vinegar- based dipping sauce was the perfect compliment. It was cheap, 10 bucks for a whole bird, cash operation. My only complaint is that I wish they were closer to me. The guys cooking were super friendly and said they try to keep the coals and chicken cooking as late as they can so people driving by will stop (just like me). The people taking the money at the register were super friendly and helpful. 11/10 will be back. and every time go to OC I’m stopping cause this place is UH-MAZING!!!”

“The customer service and the food was outstanding at this subway. The manager and the gentleman working sat night between 730 and 8 pm greeted me as soon as I walked up to the counter. They were very nice and professional if I could give them 10 stars I would. The subway in hurlock I would give minus a billion stars. I was the only customer at the counter. The woman completely disregarded me. Never spoke a word to me. No greeting no let me know when your ready. But she spoke to customer shopping in the convenience store part. And when these kids came up to the restaurant at subway ,mind you I am still standing at the counter waiting to order, she started talking to them. Then a young man came out from a room to the side walked right past me. Still no hello can I help you so I walked out and when to the next town over from where I live in hurlock to preston subway and got waited on a greeted right away. I have been in customer service for 38 years and I have never nor have any of my employees ignored a guest like I was ignored at your hurlock location.”
