“I've known about this place for years. They have been there for many years, so it's like a mom and pop type of café. I used to work not far from it and my boss used to order their reuben sandwiches for the entire office back in the day on Fridays. Now, I no longer work in DC, but I make it a habit of going there just to get their Reuben sandwiches. They use kosher meat so the meat is delicious. I have tried other reuben sandwiches at other places and there is no match to the reuben sandwiches here. I no longer eat them anywhere else anymore because whenever I do, I'm always disappointed. So if you're looking for a fantastic amazing reuben sandwich this is the place to go. I have never ordered anything else on the menu when I go there. One day maybe I'll try their fish sandwiches because I heard they are good too. So I give them a 5 out of 5 stars.“

“Really nice deli, the food is great and the service is fast. Which surprised me. They actually carved the turkey in front of you for your sandwich. Not sliced off a loaf, but carved the pieces out. The gyros were delicious, along with the rice bowl. No wonder they keep a line there. It's worth the wait.“

“Food was great. I got the cheese steak and fries. Of course a lot of places now a days ask for a tip for virtually doing nothing. I placed my order at the counter and they called me back to the counter to pick up my food. It wasn't worth the tip. I wouldn't recommend tipping.“

“Just happened on this deli while wandering around as tourists. Saw the lines of locals and realized this is where we want to eat. The ambiance is pure deli. Everything clean and appropriate. The food is solid. Everything tasted fresh and good: Simple and pure. We met the mom and pop owners who ended up realizing we were tourists and gave us pointers on what to see and how to order food in the region. Ended up chatting about life in general. Just above and beyond in terms of personalized kindness. So much so that I had to write my once in a decade review...“
