Mainland has been a Saturday staple since I was a child and boy have they fallen off. My order today was simple, 1 small egg drop soup and a small shrimp fried rice. What I received was soup that was so gelatinous that I had to cut it with waters fried rice with overcooked shrimp that were mushy. I called in my order before my arrival and noticed that it is carry out only.
My scallop and vegetables was 90 percent vegetables. The lady behind the counter screamed at me when I asked her about white sauce. I've gone there several times, however, the quality of the food and service has reached a level too low for me to go back. I'm not going back to Mainland.

The food is not as great as it used to be, and surprisingly, the complaints about the lady haven't stopped in 10 years. I went to see if it was any better but it seems like maybe the "mean" lady maybe wasn't there today or maybe she finally retired (i doubt it, who would retire from socking in all the cash from people who keep coming to get their food despite how they talk to us on the phone) and her "mean" daughter (i'm guessing its her daughter because she gives the exact same...read full review
