THE TENDER RIB FOODTRUCK

This review is for the food truck service. Ordered two meals. Used my Cash App card and she told me it declined. Well if you have a card, it texts u immediately when it’s used and shows the amount. She tried to charge me $84 for a $42 meal. I told her it declined because I have $46 on my card and u tried to charge me $84. She just looked at me. Didn’t say a word. Just changed the amount. This time… I looked at the charge. Pay attention because if I had used my regular debit card, she would have got that money and I would not have known until much later.

I wish there had been better communication before I made a long drive to this place. I called ahead and was told one thing, only to arrive and be told there were no ribs. When I mentioned that I had just called, the young lady at the counter shrugged it off and said, “It is what it is” — completely unprofessional. I was looking forward to supporting this business, but the lack of courtesy and accountability really ruined it for me.

This will be my go to spot for bbq from now on. Ordered the ribs, chicken, shrimp, crab cakes, and all of the sides. Everything was delicious, well seasoned, and juicy. And the service was friendly with great music for the atmosphere. 10/10 experience.

What can I say?! The meats live up to the name, tender, succulent, and tasty! The minced barbecue and pork ribs are yummy! I'm looking forward to the Friday specials!

I’ve been going to Tender Rib since their location near Iverson & followed them to their Livingston Rd location . I was extremely saddened when they closed but THEN THEY CAME BACK WITH A FOOD TRUCK ! I love yall lol Best DMV soul food in my opinion & it’s ONLY right to get the ribs . Everything on their menu is a 10 . I’m
writing this on Thursday waiting for Friday so I can come back . I wish they had memberships or something lol
