Very cute inside, friendly staff, really good bagels. Make sure to come before noon, bagels sell out fast but are very good. The cream cheese is also amazing, and homemade. This is the best bagel place I have tried downtown!

I moved from NY to Frederick a few months ago. Every New Yorker immediately looks for a good bacon, egg & cheese on an everything bagel when they move and almost always is let down. This place however delivers. Great bagels, kind service, chill atmosphere. People seem to know each other here, a real gathering spot I love this place and can’t see enough praise. I’ve been there several times and it’s always consistent 👏

Great lunch and breakfast spot in downtown Frederick. Bagels were tasty and almost everything we had was homemade. We could taste the freshness and quality. A nice stop off route 15, 70 or 270 if your passing through town. We will continue to stop here for the friendly faces and the great food.

No cortado on the menu so I ordered a cappuccino. It was not as creamy as I would prefer, but I did enjoy all that fluffy foam on top.
I also ordered a tuna salad on a bagel. The bagel was amazing, but the salad was a bit watery. There were many options for bagels to choose from.
Enjoying life one cortado/cappuccino at a time. 😉

We had an egg salad bagel, iced mocha, and a lox bagel. All of it was absolutely delicious! The price was reasonable and the service quick and friendly. We will be back the next time we are in Frederick.

I’ve been coming to Bean & Bagels for close to 20 years now. The owner always remembers me, my Family, and my favorite drink. The bagels are Excellent!!! My personal favorite is the sun-dried tomato bagel BLT with a mocha breve. Pure indulgence. There is pleasant seating outside and the inside has oodles of neighborhood cafe charm. Places come and go in Frederick all the time but if you want to experience a real institution of the city m, then you should definitely visit Beans & Bagels!

First time here for a phone order (breakfast) for carryout. I had the 2 eggs, sausage, home fries with toast, my co-worker had a bagel with bacon, egg, and cheese. There are lots of choices for each of the breakfasts we ordered and plenty of sides to add on. We grabbed some drinks from the cooler and I ordered a black coffee. Love the atmosphere and the menu selection. The servers/employees were very kind and helpful. Parking on the street in the early morning (we went around 8:15 AM) is easy and plentiful since it's not a busy time of day. We didn't feed the parking meter, we were able to go right in and get our order. The food was fabulous and the serving sizes were pretty decent. The black coffee is superb! Def. will go back, we highly recommend them for breakfast. Next time we will try the sandwiches. :)
Its like eating breakfast at grandma's house. The crew is friendly, the food is tasty and the people are friendly. Love downtown Frederick!
