My wife discovered Tenth Ward on a trip with her friends and raved about it. We dropped in for drinks on a Saturday, and it lived up to the hype! They have a fun, ecclectic setup. The staff was friendly. They handled the crowded bar area well and made some great drinks. We did a cocktail flight, which was great. I highly recommend the Corpse Reviver and the Bees Knees. Will definitely visit again!
Before dinner, my friends and I stopped by Tenth Ward Distilling Company. Since we arrived early, we were allowed to sit wherever we liked. We didn't enjoy the large party of 12 people that were dressed in ugly sweaters that sat next to us. They were loud and drunk. We enjoyed most of our drinks with the except of the bourbon tasting that tasted like woodchips or a wood varnish. The gentleman in our party got $9 Spirits Tasting Flights. We have used Tenth Ward multiple times for our team meetings and holiday parties, and I have attended many more events and meetings at their beautiful space.The historic wedding venue is woman-owned and features wall-to-wall exposed brick, large industrial windows, and beautiful original hardwood floors.
