Selection of spirits are pretty good and the initial presentation of what was available was well done. However the server seemed rather disinterested in waiting on my party and more on holding a conversation with fellow employees, so we will not be going back there again.

We have used Tenth Ward multiple times for our team meetings and holiday parties, and I have attended many more events and meetings at their beautiful space.The historic wedding venue is woman-owned and features wall-to-wall exposed brick, large industrial windows, and beautiful original hardwood floors. It is on the second floor and requires stairs to access but it is worth the short climb.The staff is very responsive and easy to work with.In addition to business meetings I know they host weddings. I am sure it would be a wonderful venue for this as well!

My wife discovered Tenth Ward on a trip with her friends and raved about it. We dropped in for drinks on a Saturday, and it lived up to the hype! They have a fun, ecclectic setup. The staff was friendly. They handled the crowded bar area well and made some great drinks. We did a cocktail flight, which was great. I highly recommend the Corpse Reviver and the Bees Knees. Will definitely visit again!

Stopped into Tenth Ward to have a drink on NYE to celebrate my one year anniversary after getting married here last year. Took over 25 min to get me and my husband’s drink and when we did his drink was wrong. I declined to even drink my cocktail after the bartender touched ipad, counter, her clothes, bottles, her hair and then the garnish to my drink with her bare hands. I know this is a busy time, but I was in total shock at the service I experienced and lack of care for sanitary practices.

Before dinner, my friends and I stopped by Tenth Ward Distilling Company. Since we arrived early, we were allowed to sit wherever we liked. We didn't enjoy the large party of 12 people that were dressed in ugly sweaters that sat next to us. They were loud and drunk. We enjoyed most of our drinks with the except of the bourbon tasting that tasted like woodchips or a wood varnish. The gentleman in our party got $9 Spirits Tasting Flights. It was nice that it came with info cards with drink recipes. One of the flights consisted of Honey Jack, Bourbon, Absinthe, while the other consisted of Bourbon, Rye Whiskey, and Citrus Liqueur. The other lady in our party tried the $11.50 Draft Cocktail Flight, which consisted of Corpse Reviver No. 10, Jalapeño Margarita, and Queen Bee's Knees. Her favorite was the Jalapeño Margarita. She didn't enjoy the Queen Bee's Knees because it was too floral for her. I enjoyed the Winter Mule, which consisted of Winter Liqueur, orange oleo, and house ginger beer, shaken, served over the rocks with rosemary garnish. I liked it was spiced.

We had our holiday office party in the upstairs room and it was fabulous! Such a fun space. They even created two cocktails just for our event and they were AMAZING! It is accessible only by stairs so keep that in mind when considering your guests. Thank you for an amazing time.

Oh this place is sooo good!!I randomly suggested that we hit up this place for some pre-dinner cocktails...and whoa, was this a fantastic idea. We found seats at the bar, and the service was very kind and attentive. The cocktails are unconventional and very well thought-out..offering an elevated mixed drink experience!The menu has something for everyone, and the mixologist bartenders can whip up most anything (or variation) you request. No food is served here but truthfully, you come for the unique cocktails and tastings.The place is spacious and has a ton of natural light. Highly recommend!!
Great hidden gem in Frederick. Their cocktails with the liquor they make are on another level. Bartenders are super nice and personable. The place is always clean and gives good vibes. This is the spot.

Great find! Good spirits and great customer service. On a side note, my understanding is that the owner takes great care of the staff. It shows too, because all of the bartenders are very pleasant. So nice to hear that a small-medium size business owner is stepping up to offer employees great benefits. Good work ?

So I discovered this place by finding their canned cocktails in my local liquor store, their corpse reviver with absinthe made for a unique buzz and then led me into the online research. I discovered they were in downtown Frederick and then I made it a plan to eventually come here. Let's say I waited too long, the cocktails are so good and their liquors are very different then what you're used to in a great way. The place is so clean and welcoming and it feels like a very relaxed place to enjoy a drink. We went home with their seasonal autumn liqueur and it's amazing. Definitely a place to check out if you like cocktails, if you want food you can order from next door which is pretty darn good.
