We are from Texas and just stumbled into this place. Legitimate Texas brisket. Sides were very good as well. My wife had the turkey and said it was very good as well. She said the sweet potatoes were the best she ever had. Staff was very welcoming and friendly. Very nice place with clean restrooms. Outstanding visit!!
Rooftop and bar is awesome this past Saturday evening. Drinks were on point. Ribs were ok. ARKANSAS BRISKET WAS OK. Beans and rice were good. Collard greens C+. Mac n cheese were ok.
Service was quick and excellent. Pork shoulder and brisquet sandwiches hit the spot. Always on the list when my inner carnivore needs to be fed. This location has had a major face-lift inside and added more convenient outdoor seating. The inside seating has a more spacious and open feel and everything is clean and fresh. In so doing it lost a bit of the old charm but the renovation is a net positive. The added outdoor seating is a plus too, but it did cost some parking spaces...
