The food was great the service was fast. It's a small Queen property right on Market Street. It's the former hookah bar. If you're lucky you can find parking out front otherwise there's a parking garage not too far away

Went to dinner at Bloom for the first time, the ambience is incredible: maximalist decorations, love the colors, chill music. We got the Massaman pot stickers, Saigon spring roll, and supreme noodle. All were pretty good! Great aesthetic presentation. Supreme noodle had a very unique broth. Would recommend for a date night. I'd try more tapas dishes, the plates going to other surrounding tables looked amazing

Food was amazing, we ordered crispy squid which was crispy and sauce amazing, the sweet sour chicken was crispy and not soggy, amazing also. I was a little disappointed by the small amount of rice that came with the entrees of vegetable stir fry and sweet and sour chicken, it was only about 1/2 a cup on the side. Definitely a lot less than most asian restaurants, and it wouldn’t be so bad if the service wasn’t so horrible.

The 2 asian guys who were our waiters took turns asking us what we wanted to order every 7 minutes, despite us asking them to give us some time. We were also having a conversation and they’d come back 7 minutes later to cut our conversation and interrupt me talking to ask “are you ready to order?” 2nd time, and didn’t even wait that long for us, and we told the waiter we need more time. 7 minutes later they’re back and with an attitude, like impatient, when I was talking to my sister my about which dish I’m considering he cuts me off and says “So the veggies mix?” And I was like no, I’m discussing with my sister right now what we are planning please give us a minute. And he just crossed his arm and stood there lol. After they took our order they never came back, I saw them standing to the side chatting with each other, or being idle, not even looking at us the whole time, and not checking in on us, never refilled our water that I had to start drinking my niece’s water lol, they didn’t refill the waters until my sister flagged one of them down and even when she waved and said “hey excuse me!”, they didn’t look or see her lol. Finally she got one of them and asked for juice for my niece and I was able to ask them to refill all our 3 empty waters. Then after that they disappeared again standing to the side not doing anything. I asked them to refill our waters a second time when they came to bring out our 2nd entree, which was weird they brought the first entree out and there was a gap of 10 min before the 2nd entree came out so was just waiting for my food while my sis and my fiancĂ© already has theirs lol. Then, last time I asked for a water refill was when they came by to give us the check. It was one of the worst Services I’ve ever had, it wasn’t even busy and they were just standing there to the side, they bugged us so many asking us what we want to order the minute we sat down without even giving us time to look at the menu even though I could see them standing to the side observing us talking to each other and haven’t had a chance to look at the menu yet, YET they still kept asking us every 7 minutes what we want, then becoming impatient, then after taking our orders never checked on us or refilled our waters ever again. It felt like they just wanted to take our orders so the boss is happy and then they can go back to doing nothing. Get their task done with and not refill water or check on us. I don’t know what that was about. 3 stars because the food was great. 1 star for service.

First off this place smells like cleaner as soon we walked in and it was empty at 6pm on a Thursday night. Two red flags right off the bat. Only stayed for apps because they were not tasteful. The caramelized dumplings were so gross. The filler was strange and the purple dumpling itself was like eating slimy rubber. A+ for presentation and decor but pretentiousness can only get a restaurant so far.

Food was delicious- and the presentation was great. We had multiple rounds of tapas and enjoyed every bite: specifically the Carmalized prawns and the dumplings. The beef bugogi was excellent- too. The atmosphere was gorgeous and in a walkable part of town. It was a choice for my fiancé’s birthday and he absolutely loved it.

If you like to explore very new and different styles of food and environments, this is perfect. It’s not that big but I was amazed with interior design and new styles of foods presented.

I had a great brunch experience at Bloom Asian Huas. The egg & cheese toast with homemade bechamel sauce was absolutely yummy. It looks simple, but the flavors are surprisingly complex and well balanced. The creamy sauce tied everything together well. I ordered the drink, iced strawberry matcha latte. It was perfect and smooth taste, not too sweet and incredibly refreshing. It complemented the meal so well and left me feeling happy. I would definitely come back again.

My wife and I are vegetarian, and decided to try this place for lunch as there were actually a several options for us. We usually prefer to give local businesses a chance especially when they try to accommodate our diet. We were excited about this place since the menu and the pics on their website looked so good. We actually drove an hour to get here.

When we walked in, the place was completely empty. This is usually sends up a red flag for us , we decided to ignore it, maybe it was a weird week day in December, not sure.

When taking drink orders, we were told the signature cocktails weren't available as they didn't have ingredients ready. Seemed odd to leave money on the table, but likely their bartender wasn't working the lunch shift.

So we ordered a hot sake, which weirdly came out too quickly. not sure if they had hot sake prepared ahead of time, seemed odd as there really wasn't much traffic. Left a question on our minds. We have had hot sake plenty of times around the world, and this just tasted off. It had an unpleasant sweetness to it.

Then we ordered some appetizers, tofu bao bun, mushroom soup, chive dumplings, and trio tempura. The soup was lackluster, seemed like warmed in the microwave, and came out lukewarm. The chive dumplings looked really nice, but when we cut into them, there wasn't much of any filling, and were incredibly greasy not to mention chewy. These seemed oddly similar to what we've bought at the Asian supermarket. The tempura was crispy, however the batter was bland, and not sure why fried avocado is a thing. Fried eggplant, carrots, or even broccoli would be better. The fried tofu bao buns were nice, however the bao buns were not risen completely so the dough was sticky.

Regarding the service, even though we were the only ones there, it was strange. They kept talking loudly to someone from a local business or something. We paid and left, and they didn't even seem to notice when we left or cared.

The place has a good atmosphere, a nice corner location witharge windows, nicely decorated for a cozy date night.

Restaurant business is tough, and with a few improvements, they can be great. WIshing them all the best.

What a treat! One of the places in Frederick that doesn’t shy away from big flavor. We tried pearl dumpling, chive dumplings, tuna tartar, honey pork and tiger beef . All were absolutely outstanding. It is hard to pick favorites. You will not be bored.

Such an impressive variety in textures and sauce components. Sometimes restaurants can get a bit lazy with their sauce bases, but not Bloom! The nuance of spices and scents will leave you wanting to try more. It sure did for us.

Special thanks to Nicolas who is a star cocktail maker and all around a pleasure to be around.

Thanks to all who work hard to make Bloom an amazing spot.

What a great restaurant! We ordered several things and all were delicious. The salad my wife ordered was huge. One of the things I ordered was beef tapas that was pretty large for tapas and the sauce to dip was really good. It also came with a salad that I couldn't get enough of. The dressing was subtle but very good. Great cocktails too. The sesame old fashioned was perfect and my wife ordered a mango sticky rice drink that I tasted and it was really good. Highly reccomend this restaurant.
