EL AFRIK Cuisine & Bar Reviews
GHANA 🇬🇭 is representing here well and I love how the host/ hostess all greet take your orders and serve you as if trained by customary Ghanaian parents. Very chill welcoming to EVERYBODY SPOT..which is very much the Akwabaa spirit of GHANA 🇬🇭. I love it.
Peanut Butter Soup with fried yam is unique and delicious. I was skeptical but one spoonful converted me—savory, nutty, and so comforting. The fried yam was perfect for dipping. My friend had the Light Soup and loved it too. EL AFRIK takes African classics and makes them shine. Absolutely deserving of five stars.
Fried Yam and Tsofu (fish) was simple yet incredible. The yams were baked with authentic seasonings—crispy outside, soft inside. The fish was fresh and flaky. I love that I could choose jollof as a side, but honestly the yam alone is worth the trip. Cozy vibes, great music, and the friendliest owners. Highly recommend!
