About Backslash Burger (Formerly Fifty Fifty)

Backslash Burger (Formerly Fifty Fifty) offers delicious burgers in Frederick, located in the back of Olde Mother Brewery. The impossible plant burger is excellent, and the smash burgers are full of flavor, juicy, and perfectly cooked. Fries and onion rings are delicious; ask for extra crispy. Sweet potato fries are exceptionally crispy and seasoned (with cinnamon sugar), served with a side of in-house blueberry ketchup or a blueberry sauce that is so fire. The staff are courteous, incredibly friendly, and very kind. The vibe is super chill and relaxed, with ample seating and a large seating area with picnic tables. It is connected to Olde Mother Brewery for a local beer and burger, with easy access to the brewpub and an accessible parking lot. Great for families, with fast service and a best burger in the DMV rating.

There is so much ground bacon in here that it definitely is reminiscent of a sausage patty, but the beef keeps it from getting too busy. I would have liked if the candied jalapenos were on top of the burger rather than below, but the bun was toasted enough to handle it. I can't say that this burger is something I could...read full review
The sweet potato fries and blueberry ketchup are amazing. The Peter piper hamburger was really good, one of the best burgers I’ve had. I would say the prices are a little high and 2 patties are a must.
