We absolutely love having Hoffman Brothers here in Frederick. Taharka Bros is our favorite ice cream and thanks so this place we can indulge in our faves as often as we’d like (and keep the freezer stocked)! If you haven’t tried their ice cream, the Honey Graham is a MUST. My personal favorite is Chocolate Love- chocolate ice cream with an Oreo swirl. As close to heaven as it gets! ?

Dude. I'm from waaay out of town and it was in the 30s when we walked into the shop after dark tonight, so it seems very hard to believe that I would take the time on this business trip to write a review, but HOLY COW THIS ICE CREAM WAS DELICIOUS! The Key Lime Pie is going to haunt my ice cream dreams! It was one of the best I've cream flavors I've EVER HAD... right up there with the cherry ice cream with Oreos at Moomers in Traverse City, Michigan! The flavor this scoop was tart like key lime pie, but instead of just having the pie crust mixed in, there was this ribbon of something that was crispy and that made the texture an irresistible even unconquerable combination! Good job young buck, good job. May your entrepreneurial success continue! And good grief everyone, if you're near Frederick, consider yourself lucky because you've got some great ice cream here, people. Dang. I will spread the good gospel of Hoffman's in Oklahoma City!

My sister insisted that we had to go here for ice cream. I love the back story of how this started. The young man who helped us was very pleasant. The shop is small, no seating. The flavors that we tried are: Key lime pie- tart Roasted strawberry- tangy and sweet Black cherry chunk- good Mint chocolate chip- good Peanut butter something- it was amazing. All the flavors were delicious. Definitely will stop by next time we are in Frederick.

This place serves Taharka ice cream (which uses corn syrup). It seems that most ice cream shops in Baltimore now serve Taharka. For that reason, I wish we had gone to the Frederick Ice Cream and Fudge Company around the corner instead.There were probably 12-15 flavors to choose from here. This establishment could definitely use a bigger selection.The owner waited on us. He let us sample the different ice creams. We were very happy with the quality of the ice cream and our choices. The vanilla and key lime flavors were very tasty indeed.
