Maxwell's Burgers & Shakes

The burger was good, the fries were greasy and limp, the shake hit the spot. We had to visit and try it out, but not one of my favorites. Prices were reasonable, serving staff was very friendly.

Really good burgers and friendly staff. They have a creativr menu of burger types but you can also make your own with any of the toppings available. I like that they ask how you want your burger cooked and then serve it cooked the way you asked. I had the steakhouse burger; it was fantastic.

The atmosphere is okay, the place is a bit small and could use a visual uplift, but it's nothing bad.

Stopped by for lunch with my boyfriend today and left very happy and full lol Staff were very friendly and helpful, great atmosphere, clean, food was super tasty! It was their five year anniversary today, they offered me a piece of cake which was so nice. We will definitely be back!!

This was our first visit, and we stopped in after visiting the museum across the street. We had no idea what we were doing the entire time. It seems like you're supposed to seat yourself and then go up to the counter to order, but nothing is explained. It was incredibly confusing.

No one checks on you. We didn't know if refills were free, so we just helped ourselves. The fries were oddly overcooked. My husband ordered a well-done burger and got one with pink inside. The kids wouldn’t eat the nuggets, which were more like chicken meatballs than actual nuggets.

The vibe inside is just strange. We really wanted to like it, but we probably won’t be back.

We stopped after some shopping for a snack, splitting a shake (that the crew split into two cups), a Hawaiian hot dog, and some crispy Brussels sprouts. All were wonderful, and the staff was very friendly and efficient. The Brussels sprouts included orange pieces, and both the Brussels sprouts and hot dog had some tasty pickled red onions on them. I would definitely stop in to Maxwell’s if in Frederick!

It was my first time at maxwells. I was in a mood for a burger and the steakhouse burger didn’t disappoint. Stacy was awesome she really made me feel welcomed amazing attitude and was on top of everything !!
