Maxwell's Burgers & Shakes

I've been here 3 times before and generally the burger has been one of the best I've had the pleasure of eating. This last visit, however, broke the mold and not in a good way. I ordered a steakhouse burger but received a maxx burger instead. No problem, I took it to the counter and they made me a new burger. However, it tasted like they forgot to clean the grill before putting the burgers on it. You could literally tasted the old grease on the burger. My husband ordered a BLT burger and was pretty grossed out by it as well. He actually mentioned that the burger tasted like the grill so I knew it wasn't just me. He also felt his BLT was sloppy. Too much mayo and too many toppings that left the burger hidden in a mess. Previously, going here has been a secret get away treat for a great burger, so I'm hoping this experience was just a one off.

I’ve ordered burgers and shakes for takeout multiple times and I’ve never been disappointed. The burgers and BLT sandwich are delicious and flavorful, always cooked how I like. Their milkshakes are my favorite, especially the Shake of the Month. They’re generously loaded with add-ins and always yummy; I’m glad they donate a portion of sales to charity. Definitely a must-try for reliably good burgers and shakes.

Maxwell’s has the best burgers in town. The burger patties are flavorful and perfectly cooked and the toppings are always fresh! Their fish sandwiches are also fantastic!

My sister took my son and I out for dinner and brought us to Maxwell’s. A innovative take on what a burger COULD be. If you have pretty much had it all and you need a unique tasting experience, this is the place. I also know my way around a milkshake, and Maxwell’s destroyed what I thought what a milkshake was. Milkshake’s before were ’good’, Maxwell’s milkshakes are delectable, though I would have also appreciated a mini umbrella in mine. Sora the cashier/server made our experience delightful. What a delicious experience!

First time here, based on other reviews online. One bite and it became obvious why so many consider Maxwell’s to have the best burgers. They are fantastic. Everything you want in a burger: juicy, tasty, and with a slight crust kissed by flames. The fries are also delicious, with the sweet potato tots being the perfect combination of savory and sweet. Add a milkshake when you order: You won’t be sorry. I’m hooked and will definitely be back again and again and again…..
