Had to kill 15 minutes while a prescription was being filled. Went into the Pop Shop for an ice cream. Kid at register was texting. I stood there for a few minutes staring his way. Nothing. I say “excuse me”. He looks up, still says nothing. “do you work here” I ask. “Yeah” he says. Blank stare. I left. If this is your business, hire people who care just a tiny little bit.

As a downtown resident I’m very disappointed in what the pop shop has become.. just went in there today and each time I go in staff just becomes worse and worse. Not sure who the owner is but you should stop in more often and check on who you’re hiring and having run things, everyone in there is rude and acts as if they don’t want to be there or service people. Not to mention I paid for two scoops today and was definitely ripped off by the portion. Should’ve just saved my money and gotten one scoop, probably would’ve ended up being the same amount anyways.

Fun place! What a blast from the past- so many candies from my childhood ( in the 50’s/60’s). I picked up some of my old favs to introduce to my grandchildren- they loved them. Plan to take my little hearts there the next time we are in Fredrick.

This was such a cute little novelty store. I loved it. I bought a 6 pack of nasty sounding sodas that we haven't tried yet. Im scared to try them lol.
They had a large selection, plenty of stock and variety. Ive been to similar stores before, and this blew all the others ive been to out of the water.
The cashier was very knowledgeable, and friendly. I will 100% stop here again.

Was a great experience for a lazy Wednesday afternoon! So many exotic flavors of soda, candy, and chocolates from around the world! It was a little overwhelming trying to pick a flavor that would appeal to my tastes, but the staff was very helpful in assisting me in narrowing my search! Warm and friendly environment with polite employees! I was quite surprised however when my bill came up to almost $75 for a bag of chips, 1 soda, 1 juice box, 2 chocolate bars, and a jelly candy... it was a happy and fun filled experience even though it lightened my wallet!

I have no words. This store is amazing! I was looking for a long time at all of the fun(ny) soda flavors, and the amount of candy they had was insane! They also had lots of variety, so there is something for everyone! I lobed this store, and WILL be coming here again.
