Metal pieces in the sandwich. The Frederick Maryland potbelly had metal pieces in my sandwich today. I brought it back to speak with the manager. He informed me that I couldn't get a refund because I didn't take a receipt when I left. He offered a free sandwich, which I declined because why would I want another sandwich when you put metal pieces in them?

Update: I informed the health department who found MORE metal. It's in their bread, perhaps get a bread distributor who's not trying to kill people.

Unfortunately I had to change my review from 5 stars to only 2 stars. I love the food at this location but only when ordering inside. I ordered multiple times through the potbelly app when I pick up my order and CHECK IT ( which I highly suggest you check your order immediately) it is missing stuff, and this happened at least 4 times!!!!! Its a huge inconvenience to have to go back inside and have them correct the issue. Mistakes happen yes but come on simply pay attention. Today was the last straw, I will not go to this location unless I’m ordering inside or at all. I can just make it at home at least I know it will be made correctly.

I got the tuna sub on multgrain bread.. I add mayo.. just a FYI they only put alittle on tub of the sandwich it's not mixed in. But it was still good. The soup was also good. I have pretty much gotten all their soups they are all great

Slow service ,they only had 4 guest and it seemed like they were so overwhelmed. Mind you my sandwhich was sitting outside the warmer for ten plus minutes and they still had three people waiting to get there’s made I would not recommend going here if they don’t switch up the staff I will not be going back .The boy that made the sand which I heard him say well good riddance who some where else

Never going back…I asked for my sandwich to be on white bread. Got home and it was multigrain. Threw the whole thing away. Back to Jersey Mikes I go! They have the best subs and you can watch your sub being made!

This is by far the slowest Potbelly location I’ve ever been to. My family and I are frequent Potbelly customers — we even bought the Costco gift cards because we enjoy it so much. But this location in Frederick has been consistently disappointing. On both visits, the staff barely acknowledged us while we stood waiting, and they rarely smile or offer any kind of friendly service. It feels like you're bothering them just by walking in. After giving it a second chance and seeing no improvement, we’ll be taking our business elsewhere. Very unfortunate, especially since it's the only one in the area.
