Took my friend here today for his birthday. Got a Bloody Mary and steak/shrimp quesadilla, he got calamari. Everything was delicious along with their homemade chips and salsa. Staff was very friendly, great ambience. Definitely recommend.

I would recommend this place if you’re looking for Authentic mexican food! I had the steak enchiladas with red sauce and they were delicious! I would recommend Gaby at the bar and Dayani also both gave me great service!

What a disappointment!!! I've tried to order tacos three times, and all three times the tortillas have been hard. The first order had hard tortillas... the second time I ordered, they messed up my order and I didn't get what I asked for, and the last order had hard tortillas again and they didn't include the sauces, everything was so dry.

I had been here once back in 2022 and was not impressed, but they’ve since closed and reopened and I had a MUCH better experience. The service was quick and so friendly and the burrito enchiladas were excellent, the steak was so tender. I’d definitely come back for those.
The front is LOUD, if you want a more low key dinner, the back seating area is much quieter.

Came here for dinner with my brother. Place was packed. We sat outside on the back porch, which made it a little more enjoyable and quieter. We both got the fajitas. Huge portions for both and left there very full. The chips and salsa they bring out at the start of the meal or top-notch too.
Definitely worth a check out if you are in the Frederick area.

Great experience here over the weekend and so happy to discover a new and excellent Mexican restaurant in Frederick. Good cocktails, and the marinated carne asada skirt steak is killer, flavorful and cooked right. Birria tacos, pork pupusa, and the guac were all top notch.

I totally loved this place. Had dinner with my husband in the patio area. Music was at the perfect volume, not too loud. The atmosphere was incredible and the food was amazing. And for dessert, we had the flan and it was AMAZING. Never had a flan like that before.
If I had to give a feedback, it would only be the servers. Even though they are all very friendly. We had to wait couple of minutes to get one assigned to our table and then minutes later, a couple arrived to the table next to us and they waited so long that the lady had to stand up and look for a server herself. That’s the only negative thing I could notice. The rest. VERY GOOD RESTAURANT.
Great food, but it makes no sense they charge $3.50 for Iced Tea/Soda and have NO free refills! The mark-up on beverages is already high enough to cover at least 1 refill. The carne asada was very good and well seasoned.

Riverside Bar & Grill absolutely blew me away. Hands down, the best Mexican food in Frederick — fresh, flavorful, and authentic. I stopped in on a Friday night and not only was the food incredible, but the service was top-notch. I had a moment of panic when I realized I’d left my credit card behind (I’m so used to Apple Pay!). But the server — whose name I sadly can’t remember — literally ran down the street to return it to me. That kind of kindness and character is rare and unforgettable. If you're looking for amazing food and genuinely caring service, this is the spot. I’ll definitely be back!
