Came here for a karaoke night. It was a typical bar scene. I will say you must be very careful going down the stairs and watch the steps entering the establishment. It seemed lively and packed with patrons drinking and enjoying the live karaoke music. I came to the cellar door many years ago, and it seems they are the same. I did like added the white claw drinks. We ended up leaving and going to another spot. Didn't order anything on this visit. May come back in the future.
We dropped in at a quiet moment and it was perfect after a hot day. The service was quick, appetizers and food were tasty and the drinks refreshing.
The staff were very nice and attentive. You can smell the crab cakes as soon as you walk in. I went here for mother's day and received a special flower plant ☺️
Drunken Mushroom Toast app, absolutely fantastic. Steak with caramelized onions and blue cheese wasn't bad, but the steak was oddly bland and packed any kind of sear. Service was very good the night went, but it never got too busy for dinner on a Friday night. I really liked the literal cellar walls that were very rustic
Wow what a disappointment over cooked fish, mush for crab dip super small portions. Staff was nice.
This is a cool vibe. On Friday nights they have an urban or hip hop night. The music you were here is all radio version. No Trap music. Its a mix crowd. It's not bad, but not super fun. It's somewhere in the middle. I will say the people seem to be kind.
Cellar Door is an absolute gem. The food is excellent and the staff is very friendly, and they host a comedy open mic every Tuesday that's simply amazing. 1000000/10
My husband and I wanted to try something new and were looking to try this restaurant for dinner and when we walked in we sat ourselves as instructed by a sign (no greeting) and no one came to serve us as we waited for a good while. Finally I approached the bar even though they clearly saw us when we arrived. The bartender she seemed idn tired or tipsy and flirting with the men at the bar as I stood there waiting to talk to her. It was not busy at all and the bartender wasn’t even working or making drinks or serving food at all.
I asked for menus and asked can someone serve us? I was told ‘well if you want I can come get your drink order soon.’ I responded with yes please we would like to eat. Then I was told that once the comedy show starts in the next 10 mins I cannot order food unless I come to the bar. I said we would like to order food now before the show if that’s ok! She said yea rudely and gave me such an attitude and never did come over to order our drinks like she said she would. We waited a little longer to see if we would be served…and we never were. So we left. Very upsetting and disappointing. The bartender was a mess and acted a mess. My husband and I won’t be returning just because of the lousy service. It’s a bummer because the atmosphere and lounge area and the shows seemed inviting at first…we wanted to experience it all but couldn’t because we were simply not acknowledged even after reaching out to bartender which seemed to be the only one working at the moment and there was no service or greeting at all.
We went next door to brewers alley and a whole other and much much better experience with a big tip! At least they acknowledged us!
You guys missed out!
Management, check out your lousy staff…they may just be flirting with the men at the bar instead of working or helping customers!

First time visiting this little gem yesterday early evening, and it reminded me of the bar i work at. The energy you give is the energy you receive. The 2 bartenders were welcoming and made us feel right at home. Looking forward to coming back again for food.

Pretty good spot. Food is hit or miss. Drinks are regular quality with no real draw to make you get something special. Service is weak with no real amazing staff.

Went there for the first time ever tonight for a Bachelorette party. Had the worst experience ever. The waitress with bleach blonde hair and over lip fillers was extremely rude. She rudely told us (party of 15) to leave an area and then told us to move from another area to the point we threw away our drinks and left the establishment. We definitely felt unwelcome and when we were complaining about her ignorance another group said they had issues with the same lady. Very unfortunate.
