“This is my favorite McD to go to in the area. The servers are very courteous and helpful every time I go here. At other McD stores, it is often hit or miss. Sometimes, it's a guarantee miss but it's a convenience location. Sometimes, I'll go out of my way to go to this store.“

“It’s always hard to know how much vegan fast food should cost when it’s more readily-available animal based competition is so cheap. I will say that paying north of $10 for what is essentially some variation of a fast food burger stings a little whenever I’m pulling out my wallet. But the quality and variety (I got a patty melt, chili cheese fries, and a fish sandwich last time) makes me feel a little better. “We took the family out to dinner tonight, and tried N&S on a whim. We were very pleasantly surprised by the friendly staff, quick service, and quality food. Everything was hot and tasty, fries crispy and well-seasoned. Portions and price for value are both really good. We will definitely return!“

“The avocado bacon burger was very good. The fries were so-so without sauce, okay with ketchup. The cheese sauce for the cheese fries tasted very artificial, but we ordered it on the side so we were able to use ketchup for dipping instead. My son reported that the chicken nuggets were also good. The strawberry lemonade was VERY sweet.

Ordering is done purely by kiosk, but customizing orders was easy enough.“

“I can’t WAIT to come back here. The wings are delicious and the staff is so kind and welcoming. The wings were generously covered in sauce and I especially loved their lemon pepper wet sauce because the oil didn’t separate and that’s a reoccurring issue everywhere when I get a wet lemon pepper sauce. They also have okra which is an absolute favorite for me and to be honest, it’s probably one of the best side dishes of okra I’ve had.“

“Once you try one of the Sunshine Store's sandwiches, you will wonder why it took so long to try one! 😊 My husband and father in law introduced me to this hidden pleasure the first time I visited the area. We started with breakfast (tasting the local culinary treasure of scrapple), then I was introduced to their burgers on the same trip, and I was surprised that everything is cooked to order. I have not found any burger yet that is close to comparison!! My husband's family has made this a regular stop for sandwiches over several decades and generations. My father in law (nearby farmer/owner of Greenstone Custom Farming) has eaten there for several decades along with feeding his crew from this hidden gem, this has been a favorite of my husband's since he was old enough to eat there, and now it is a favorite place for our children to eat with grandpa. The store is small and with limited seating, it would be best to order the food to go or if you are eating alone you can sit at the counter and watch your food be prepared. A must try in the area and definitely worth the drive through the beautiful countryside!“

“I had a great experience at this pizza house. The pizza was delicious, and I was very happy with the quality and taste. What really stood out was the kindness of the staff. It was extremely cold outside, and my car wouldn’t start because of the weather. They went out of their way to help me get my car started. Everyone was so kind and helpful, which made the whole experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back!!“

“This place is a hidden gem!! We went there at 6pm on a Saturday and no one was there! Why??? Best tots I ever had. Very frosty pint glasses for draught beer. The staff was lovely. We will be back!“

“We dined as a family of five on a Friday evening. The atmosphere was spectacular while sitting on the patio overlooking the beautiful grounds. Our meal started with wings and soup. The wings were the perfect level of crispness with bold flavor. We also ordered the new tomato soup and that was rich, warm, creamy and deliciously we would definitely order it again. When our entree’s arrived we were left disappointed. I ordered the 8 oz filet with fries, and two spices, Gael I butter and brandy pepper corn. The filet was drowned in what I can only describe as McCormick’s Montreal Steak Seasoning. I am a purist and believe a fine cut of steak only needs salt and pepper. I could only make it half way through my steak because of the tremendous amount of salt. I was disappointed that it was a house blend of spices especially with a chef in the kitchen. The steak sauces while had a great flavor were over powered by the extreme seasonings and were severed cold and mildly gelatinous. My husband got the steak and seafood trio. He raved about the lobster ravioli however his steak was full of gristle and not very edible. We ended our meal with a crème brûlée. The custard was missing the bold vanilla flavor and was pretty bland. The sugar crust was crop and perfect. The cocktails were made fresh and delicious however when the check arrived we realized that we were charged full price instead of the happy hour pricing. Overall, the appetizers and cocktails were delicious and the atmosphere can’t be beat. We are hoping we just came on an off night for the chef. We hope to come back to try it again. We can certainly see the potential.“
