Came in this past Monday night around 8 PM and ordered about $100 worth of food to go. The restaurant was completely empty with more than 20 tables open, so my party of three sat down at one of them to wait for our order.
A worker came over and told us we couldn’t sit there and had to wait by the to-go bench instead. We asked to speak with the manager and it turned out this worker was the manager.
Normally I would understand and comply, but when the restaurant is nearly empty it just felt unnecessary and unwelcoming. A good manager should know when to enforce rules and when to show flexibility, especially when it doesn’t impact anyone else.
Instead, he doubled down and said it was policy. We asked for a refund and left. Rude staff, poor judgment, and not a place I’ll be returning to.

First time dining here. I didn't eat the bread, but my daughter had two pieces. It looked like nothing special, like Wonder bread truthfully. Butter was in those little hard to open tiny square packages - a ramekin of softened butter would have been much nicer.
Service was extremely attentive. Best thing about eating there.
Caesar salad at $10 was extremely average.
My pasta dish, penne with chopped clams, was just ok. Should have been enough for a doggy bag, but definitely wasn't.
My daughter's veal parmesan was much better. Wish I'd ordered that instead. Decaf coffee came with the little creamers you'd get at McDonald's. The cream was probably sitting around for a while, because there were splotchy specks in my decaf. Not pleasant.
Overall, I'd give food a B- or C.
Service was a definite A.
Might give it one more try, but likely not on second thought.

Food was horrible. I had the butternut squash ravioli and it was a disaster. Extremely disappointing.

Chicken in chicken parmigiana was overcooked, burnt around the edges, and tough to cut. Small white pizza was not nearly as good as at this restaurant's sister restaurant. The eggplant parmigiana was good. It would be nice if the grated parmigiana cheese was on the table instead of having to ask the server for it. The small amount of butter provided in little sealed containers could not be eaten. It was still very hard even after eating the entire meal. Do they store it in the freezer? The flatware was low quality. Should be better in a mid-level restaurant.
Cafe Roma is an excellent choice for dinner.

Lovely place woth nice staff and great atmosphere. Met 5 others fo dinner and did not feel rushed to leave.
We have been meaning to try Cafe Roma for quite some time. We finally went with my daughter and her husband this past weekend. It was a lovely meal and very reasonably priced. We will definitely go back and try some of the other yummy dishes on the menu. The carafe of house wine was a generous size and the wine was delicious.
