We have been meaning to try Cafe Roma for quite some time. We finally went with my daughter and her husband this past weekend. It was a lovely meal and very reasonably priced. We will definitely go back and try some of the other yummy dishes on the menu. The carafe of house wine was a generous size and the wine was delicious.

Service here was flawed but fine, and the venue is spacious and nice, but every dish except literally the salad was disappointing. We tried the spaghetti bolognese, the fettuccine alfredo, veggie lasagna, crab bisque soup, and the mushroom ravioli and they all fell short. Just tasted so incredibly average, and not remedied sadly with punches of salt, pepper, or more cheese.
Even in MoCo, there are much better Italian spots.

Decided to try a new Italian restaurant out of town. Picked up the cheese ravioli. Sauce is very bland. The inside of the ravioli is basically just ricotta, can see a few green flakes in some, didn’t taste like much. Basically just soggy pasta in a basic bland tomato sauce. I’m used to it being baked in sauce and topped with fresh mozzerella, but mind you can its flavor. Overall just not my preference. I will stay with my normal Italian restaurant.

For a private dinner for two, or shindig for 20.... Cafe Roma is the place with the taste. The food = A+ The Drinks = A+ The Service = A+
This place was highly rated and it has everything except flavorful food. The service was fantastic, the atmosphere was great, the prices were great. The food just lacked flavor. Every dish lacked flavor.

the waitress offered me either vegetables or pasta. I asked for vegetables. When I got the bill there was an extra dollar charge for the vegetables. I questioned it because she did not tell me there was a charge for it. She came back after questioning the owner with the menu and on the very, very bottom in tiny print of the menu it said extra charge for change. I did not know I was changing anything. Her job is to say that is extra charge and she did not do that. I did pay the bill. I didn't want the waitress to be fired or charged for the owners mistake. He needs to train the staff properly which he did not do. This is on him.

1. Fettuccini Alfredo was creamy, perfectly cooked to perfection. Chicken Marsala and doratti were both really good dish as well. Flavorful fresh and tasty.
