Solid sourdough (wheat) sliced bread.
I stopped by after spotting the shop in passing and picked up some pastries to try. I didn't think much of it at first, but wow. Every bite blew my mind. Even cold, the scones are incredible, buttery and crispy, yet soft with fresh pops of fruit. The peach one is a must have. The pesto tomato mozzarella danish was delicious, with a delicate flaky base and fresh pesto on top. I can't recommend enough!

The scones are the best in the area and the croissants, like the parmesan leek croissant, are soooo good. If you're there early to get the cinnamon rolls fresh from the oven you're going to be coming back for life. This local, family-owned spot is super welcoming with a warm, inviting, and helpful staff. It is the best bakery in the Kentlands area. You can tell they use good ingredients and everything is made with love, from the amazing pies and cheesecakes to the fantastic bread.
