The staff was incredibly friendly, and the food was made from scratch, which made it even more delicious. We had a fantastic time there.

Chopin Noodle House is a real gem! The noodles are handmade and have an incredible texture—perfectly chewy and satisfying. I tried the A2 Traditional Beef Soup, and it was absolutely delicious. The broth was rich, flavorful, and had just the right amount of spice. Compared to other noodle places, the quality here really stands out, especially considering the very reasonable prices.
The ambience is lovely, with calming jazz music and music-inspired decor that gives the space a unique, relaxing vibe. Tables are well spaced, clean, and the chairs are both comfortable and spotless. The menu is simple and easy to navigate, which makes ordering a breeze. Service was quick and attentive, and my food came out in roughly 15 minutes.
Overall, an excellent experience—great food, great atmosphere, and great service. Highly recommend!

Various musical instruments adorn the walls, with a working piano in the back of the small restaurant. The noodle soups are the best in Western MD for sure. We just moved here from central CA and this is certainly the most authentic and reasonably priced Chinese restaurant in the area. Stick to your spice level as the “chili pepper” symbols are accurate. Fun note: the chopsticks are imported from a Russian company. #1 and #7 are great choices to test the different soup broths and beef! This will be our go-to place whenever we don’t know what to eat that day!

The noodles were al dente and the broth was flavored just right. I read the review about the tofu and Thousands Year Egg in spicy sauce and tried it. Loved the dish. It was simple, but hit the spot. The tofu was silky and the eggs did not have a strong flavor which can be hard to eat for first timers. There were a lot of meats in the bowls. We had to take home some. For those reviewers who tried to compare these beef noodle soups with the Vietnamese Beef Soup (aka Phở) don't know what they are talking about. These are two distinct dishes with their own flavors; comparing them is the same as trying to compare apples to oranges.

Water was served in plastic cups. Hot tea was under steeped, served in a glass tumbler.
Fried dumplings were good, tofu in the soup was dry, broth was okay.
Popcorn chicken had an odd seasoning taste.
Chicken in the soup had an unappealing texture, very gelatinous.
The A7 beef was good, seasoned well.
Piano player is talented.

Having visited China, lived in Los Angeles, been to New York City, and eaten at countless Chinese restaurants, I can safely say that Chopin Noodle House is one of the best in the world at Chinese noodles. Likely the best in the DMV. The noodles are carefully handmade and al dente. The sauces are just right. The appetizer Lanzhou Liangpi is a must get. A1.Lanzhou Beef Noodle Soup is just as amazing.
The service is fast and cordial. The atmosphere is cozy, love the music theme

I've dined here twice but unfortunately, I won't be back. The beef noodle soup here is just ok, but if you factor in the price, I would say it's not worth it. Compared to beef pho (a similar dish sold at a similar price point), where the various cuts of beef and vegetables are plentiful, the beef noodle soup here is topped with only a few measly slivers of beef shank and radish and a handful of cilantro/green onions. While I appreciated that the noodles were al dente, the broth was very bland and did not complement the noodles well.
I wish I had better things to say about Chopin Noodle House, as I love their classical music concept and have a piano for all patrons to enjoy, but sadly, the food was a let down.
Tried this today with a friend, and my gosh, it was so good and filling. Definitely have to get the popcorn chicken and the stir fried, hand-pulled noodles. Loved it and look forward to coming back

We had a spicy cold noodles and an oil spill noodles for dinner. It was to our surprise, the foods were well prepared and tasty. The atmosphere of the restaurant is casual setting. Highly recommended. Will definitely coming back again.

My third time back at Chopin Noodle House and I decided to try a new appetizer and soup. I went with the Traditional Beef Noodle soup and it did not disappoint. Flavorful broth and perfectly textured noodles were exactly what I was craving. I added more chili oil for some extra heat.
The appetizer I chose was the Tofu with Century Egg Salad. This was my first time trying century egg and my Gods, I'm officially a fan. I ended up taking the majority of the salad home to snack on later.
This is the noodle house I come to when I need some good comfort food and they never let me down. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

A small Chinese restaurant. The menus on the table were kind of greasy so we wiped them down first. We ordered the Lanzhou Beef Noodle Soup (regular noodles), Lanzhou cold noodles, and the cucumber salad. At first the server said they had just run out of the cucumber salad, but then she came back and said there was a fresh batch. The beef noodle soup actually reminded me of beef pho (even though there's a sign at the front that says it's not like pho at all). It was not very flavorful but plenty of salt (not overly salty but that was really mostly the only flavor). The cold noodle was not great. The cucumber was the best dish, with lots of garlic. Service was prompt and nice. Restroom was clean. The noodles were also good, you can tell they are freshly made. I am not sure I would go back. Pricing was good, $37 for the two of us.

Good soup😋. I got the chili oil kimchi, traditional beef soup with the regular noodles. I remember going on a weekday in the afternoon and it was very quiet with soulful R&B playing in the background. The kimchi isnt like korean kimchi, wasn't sour. But very warm and crunchy with some vinegar taste. The noodles had a great bite, didn't disintegrate in the broth and soaked up a lot of flavor. It wasn't a spicy bowl to me. Their chilli oil is very mild. I kept adding more because I liked the warm and slight numbness it provided. Their tables also have chili oil and vinegar to add to the soup.

Came here to eat for the first time with my family. The prices are great, the noodles and the soup were delicious. They have variety of soups and small dishes. The servers were also very attentive and polite. Will be coming back!

The portion of the beef noodle is small, only as half of the other beef noodle shops. Soup is not clear. Beef is not cooked the same day tastes like it was cooked days ago.
