However, their claim that Chicken Tikka Masala is from the Indian subcontinent was NOT up for intellectual debate. They simply replied, “if it’s good it doesn’t matter.” This is the only instance in my life where I can recall where cultural appropriation was followed on with de-cultural appropriation. Just a thought that is not meant to be negative, but are the origins of Chicken Tikka Masala disputed? Inquiring minds want to know…and attempting to open up this discussion was not met as to satisfy lingering questions. I still love you.“
