“I have lived less than 5 mins away from this restaurant for 3 years and have been nervous to try it. I’m used to authentic Jamaican food and if me or my family don’t cook it…I usually don’t eat it. BUT I was CRAVING red snapper so I caved and ordered from here. I AM ACTUALLY IN SHOCK! The food DID NOT DISAPPOINT! The greens were amazing, the snapper was fried well, the plantains were nice and sweet. The rice and peas was a little too coconuty for my liking but overall, it was really good! “Jamaica Mi Crazy was my go to for Thanksgiving dinner 2022. The food was amazing! My choices included ox tails, peas and rice, turkey, cabbage etc. The meat was succulent and seasoned to perfection, just the right level of spice. My table was gorgeous and my guests loved the meal.The service and attention to detail with my order was on point and the chef was definitely to be complimented. I've recommended the restaurant to friends in Frederick, Loudon County and Fairfax County. I am looking forward to the same service and outstanding food this year!“
“Let me start off by saying that I'm Jamaican, and I have visited multiple Jamaican restaurants in Maryland. I was in Rockville and decided to stop by for a beef patty and cocoa bread. I was extremely surprised at the service I received at this spot. This is the first Jamaican restaurant I've visited in Maryland that provided good customer service. I was so shocked that I ended up ordering more food than I intended to just because of the good service. The employees were pleasant and did not have an attitude When I walked in I was greeted by an older lady at the register. It was my first time so I was not familiar with the ordering process. She directed me to a lady to her left that could take my order. It's looked like they were preparing for the lunch rush because there were multiple employees on hand waiting for customers. The ordering process was easy and efficient. The beef patty was hot and the crust was flaky. I also got the oxtail with white rice. That was tasty as well. I would definitely stop by again when I'm in the area.“
“First of all, I'd like to start by saying that Island Pride Oasis is the REAL DEAL when it comes to delicious Jamaican food! I've been to a lot of other Jamaican spots between D.C. & Maryland, but this place right here is just on a whole other level of quality, care, and taste. I've been looking for a spot that makes good jerk chicken alfredo (since it combines two of my favorite foods, jerk chicken & pasta) and just couldn't find anything that was that exceptional UNTIL I CAME HERE! Island Oasis Pride hit all the necessary spots on my tastebuds. Whatever they are doing in the kitchen, clearly they are doing it right! In any event this is my new go-to Jamaican spot & I will be coming back soon!“
